What's Hot (Top 10 Games)
We Love 'EmThe Lazylaces "What's Hot" list brings together the TOP 10 GAMES on the site as voted for by the site's community. To be eligible for inclusion on the list the game must have received at least 50 votes - this is to avoid new games jumping straight in at the bottom, or top, of the list. Currently there are a total of 1624 games eligible for the list, out of a total of 2822 posted on the site. The list is kept constantly up to date, and you should find something here you want to play, but if you disagree with any of the ratings why not vote yourself (see the rating link on every game)? So without further ado here's that TOP 10 list in full:

UPDATE: Suspicious block voting to manipulate game position can be tracked and will (and has been) removed. Please play fair.

Daymare Town 2

Well laying in bed all morning (a much deserved lay-in I hasten to add) means I missed my initial email today regarding the release of Daymare Town 2, but at least I know what I'm going to do with the rest of my day now. I'll be immersed in the quality sights, sounds and point'n'click wizardry of Mr. Murtaugh thank you very much. Now if you don't mind, I need to take the phone of the hook, log off my email, and get off to play... [subbed by Murtaugh, Helanren, Pufje, Lady Lark, BJ & U2isdebest].

Submachine 5: The Root

Submachine 5: The Root is the latest slice of point'n'click perfection from Murtaugh, giving us a tasty base of finely crafted puzzles, topped with beautiful and atmospheric graphics and sounds. All we need now is Daymare Town 2 to come out and Jen & I will be in point'n'click heaven... no resting now Murtaugh [subbed by Murtaugh, Heather, Higgo, deschain, JSY Shaggy, Casey Roebuck, karstenmp, Jas, Biggs, Toby, Stacey, Gemini, anon, Lady Lark & avs5221].

NOTE: There's an alternative link (if required).

The Invisible Beard Of Contemplation

The Invisible Beard Of Contemplation is a most excellent picture/general knowledge quiz with a most excellent name. What do we say everyone? Yes, that's right: excellent. Anyway, despite my gratuitous B & T references you'll need a little bit more than a knowledge of trashy films to complete this puzzler, which isn't a url changer, but you'll need a similar amount of googling (or a brain stamped XXL) to get thru it [subbed by JhInG].

DayMare Town

Having clearly learnt the art of never sleeping, and staying up 24 hours a day to design quality point'n'click games, it's no wonder Murtaugh finds himself stuck in DayMare Town (I'm assuming a DayMare is very much like a Nightmare, but, er, during the day), as he must be ultra tired. Anyway, DayMare Town, the latest slice of point'n'click excellent, comes hot on the heels of Covert Front Chapter 1 and the Submachine Series, and I have itchy point'n'click fingers just thinking about it, so I'm off to play now...

You've played Submachine, You've played Covert Front, now it's time for something completely new and unforeseen.

DayMare Town

Sketchy outline-only drawings give a stranger look to the game-play and create a bit of minimal atmosphere. Add creepy sounds and twisted story and you get the picture.

DMT is the hardest puzzle game I've made so far. It's really nasty, so be warned. It's for advanced pnc gamers. There is no cliffhanger at the end, but just try to get to that end.

[subbed and created by Murtaugh].

The Great House Escape

I might be super duper busy right now, but even a hectic schedule can be bent to squeeze in The Great House Escape [subbed by Buji].

Alice Is Dead (Chapter 2)

As a rabbit locked in a cell in Alice is Dead (Chapter 2) you really begin to question the description "wonderland" [subbed by theidiotcircusboy, Smashman140 & buji].

Submachine 4: The Lab

Hot out of my inbox, so much so I've barely had time to open it, is news of Submachine 4: The Lab, from murtaugh, creator of the Submachine Series. Already I can see the sights and sounds are amazing, and I'm sure once we get into it, the point'n'click puzzles are going to be a killer once again. Now, excuse me, I need to go play, I suggest you join me, and in the meantime I'll leave you with murtaugh's game description:

"Submachine. The game in which with every puzzle solved, every chapter finished you fall deeper and deeper into mystery. Fourth chapter takes us to the heart of the submachine, the place where all questions will be finally answered. Or were finally answered. Once again it's time to ask youself - is it possible that you're too late? "

Graeme: Dave?
