First things first - don't even bother clicking on this
game until it's dark in whatever time-zone you're in. Also I recommend waiting until you're on your own, and preferably you should crank the sound up too. Having spare underpants to hand is also advisable if you are of a nervous disposition. That's the prerequisites over and done with on with the game...
I was a bit dubious at first whether exmortis even was a point'n'click game, it seemed like a simple, if very spooky, flash toy with no real purpose, until I found the locked safe and figured there must be something more going on than I realised at first. Even now (I haven't completed the game), I'm not totally sure what the eventual goal is, but a little point'n'click experience has taught me that it's almost certainly to escape the house (express solution: don't enter the house at the begining and walk away while you can!).
So far I've reached the library (pictured) and figured out that I need to collect some symbols - I don't think I have them all. Post hints, and ask for help, in the comments to this post, but for now I'm off to bed (to have nightmares) and I'll be trying to complete this one in the morning.

PS. Ultra-simple first hurdle hint: click 'play this game' on the newgrounds page to play this game!
Another day, another
point'n'click game. And you thought Monday was going to be boring?
Anode Et Cathode the same people who brought you
Le Bureau now bring you
The House (La Maison?). This one looks harder than Le Bureau, and I haven't got very far with it in the 5 minutes I had to tinker with it, hopefully I'll complete it tonight after work, by which time I'm sure a whole walkthru will have been posted in the
comments for this post (
go on guys'n'gals).
Update: Due to a server outage at work I actually got this one completed in the morning, and thanks to all the comments posted now there's probably a complete walkthru if you want to trawl thru for help.
If you haven't
pirated the password paid the yen to play it yet I highly recommend playing the
blue chamber, another room escaping installment from the makers of the
crimson room and the
viridian room, which is now out to play (ethically) for free.
Scuba gear, an axe, a paddling pool and some skyscraper rooftops: all the right ingredients for a
little game of 'sky-diving'.
Panda's little
adventure is an ultra-cute little
point'n'click game which I know is one of
Allegra's favourites. It's not too taxing on the brain or the mouse finger, but it'll give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside. My only hint, should you need it, is that finding and using the flute is the key to the game.
So you're ultra proficient at
point'n'click gamery now are you?
YoPpi the AliEn is darn cute, but very easy to complete (I managed it in about 5 mins without any hints), so for a challenge I'm starting the stopwatch now. Go...[
ta allegra].
Shoot The Cliche is a nice little shooting game from those nice Dutch folks over at
flabber, although shooting cute little
domo kun and avoiding the awesome burninating power of
trogdor is a little disconcerting.
Visit the
brain hotel with the same people that gave you
a case of the crabs... not, as it appears, advice that means your next stop will be the doctor's surgery, but some more
point'n'click gaming fun.
Not quite Tetris, but not that dis-similar,
Quick Brick is an addictive puzzle game in it's own right which has already used up far too much of my time.
"
Gulp whenever Dr. Cox calls J.D. a girl's name..." The rules of the
Scrubs drinking game are a sure-fire way to get drunk in less than half an hour if that's what you call fun.
Final game of the day,
little ogee is a little comic character with an odd penchant for spitting on the floor and poking his head. The game is seemingly simple, but having said that I've got stuck twice - firstly getting over to the castle, which I got over with some help, and now I'm totally flummoxed by the room with the hanging chains. Any hints from all you gaming addicts would be much appreciated.
More scary adventures, but this time with
Garfield (yes he's
still going), in the
scary scavenger hunt. Once you're done with
part one,
part two offers more of the same. The stangest thing about these games is the huge doughnut craving you develop after about 10 minutes playing. I was actually in the car en-route to
Tesco within seconds of completing
part two.
