Thanks to John at work for sharing with me the joy that is Amazon's reviews of "Looking For-Best of David Hasselhoff". Scroll down and read how well appreciated the musical out-pourings of the great man are - this whole page has to be a set-up surely?

A limited audience for this one as A). You need to be a Brit to understand what BBC3 is, B). You need to be a Brit with satellite/cable/freeview to know what the BBC3 Blobs are. Anyway though that doesn't stop me loving them especially when they sing (3Mb PC Screensaver) [found at - the thankfully back off hiatus - minor9th].

Great news - moderate drinkers earn more than teetotalers! NB. Mental note: ignore the word "moderate" in that last sentence. And best of all "If instead of binge-drinking you steadily soak yourself in alcohol it has no impact on earnings". Time for a drink...er...pay rise I think.

Since I've been spending so long trolling through news stories from the BBC here's the history of web services at the BBC which is an interesting - if very g33ky - story in itself.

The flash mob phenomenon hits London (and a very hot and sweaty day they had for it too). I wouldn't say a sofa shop on the Tottenham Court Road was the sexiest venue but I guess sexy venues aren't the point with this.

Well I might be completely and utterly single but the Girlfriend 4.0 software should help me find and keep love. Or maybe not.

Remember when Dilbert used to be funny? The Dilbert Hole drags you back to those times by way of a little crude humour [via funjunkie].

Micro$oft improves the mouse by re-inventing what sounds suspiciously like a trackball. Sorry but I think it's been done before guys...

Remember the C5? The Segway generation should now prepare themselves for the C6 (NB. I'm not totally sure why but I'm finding loads of items of interest at the beeb recently - I think it's my fondness for reading google news).
