Hunting vigorously through the lazylaces archives for "point'n'click" unearthed the following results...

Nawlz
After an Internet connection outage lasting pretty much the whole of yesterday (almost certainly related to the storm that came thru here on Sunday night, although getting exact details from my ISP has proved to be elusive) I've spent way too much time in front of a computer today already, trying to make up for some of the time missed at work yesterday. So I'm just going to leave you with Nawlz - a point'n'click interactive comic strip thing, and I'll try to get back on track with some games tomorrow... [subbed by Rae].

MOTAS (Level 20)
News just coming in on my earpiece that Level 20 of MOTAS is out now... although I assume MOTAS addicts are already too busy puzzling and/or dancing in the streets to be reading this [subbed by PhoeNixe, sorrowless_joe & anon].

R2D2 Translator
The R2D2 Translator comes in handy when you need to understand what a droid (that's fully conversant with English yet refuses to speak it) is saying. Especially if you know, like, you're in a bit of a pickle, and Obi-Wan is your only hope or something, or you just want to hear point'n'click in droideese [via rojo huron].

Neon Bible
Should I have posted Neon Bible for Musical Friday, or should it be posted under point'n'click games? I just don't know. This flash "thing" is an interactive music video for Arcade Fire and is nice for tinkering around with, as well as having a listen to. Enjoy [subbed by randomguy & Minxxo].

Happy Point'n'Click Christmas Card
Finding the web site address for itsredagain.com on my morning cup of coffee, I started tinkering with the $tarbucks "build your own Flash Christmas card" web-toy-thing I found there to build you all a Happy Point'n'Click Christmas Card. And before you ask, yes of course that's my voice the snowman uses... [via my vanilla latte].

Flash Game Design Competition
I know that a number of my visitors write their own games and so you might be interested in the Flash Game Design Competition being hosted by my friend Jay. There are some nice prizes on offer including a fine Black Nintendo DS held briefly by me as I posted it out of Europe to the US for Jay. For the rest of us, who don't write games, we can wait with baited breath in the hope that some cool point'n'click entries are created for us to play with :o)

Mapion
Mapion is a service that uses a database of local information, combined with a phone that includes both GPS and an integrated compass, to provide realtime point'n'click data to users. Point the phone at a building, and an icon will appear, click on the icon and you can see what services, such as restaurants, are inside. I'll adopt an awed voice at this point - do you understand what this means? Real life point'n'click. Think of the games potential. The only problem is that the service is only available in Japan, where else, so I'm thinking level one in Tokyo, then level two in London, and maybe New York for level three.... [found at engadget].

Coming Soon....
There seem's to be a shortage of point'n'click games at the moment, or perhaps more accurately there are lots of point'n'click games at the moment, but we're playing through them at a furious rate (*slaps* all round), so just to whip you up into a frenzy here are a few "comming soon" items to look forward too. First up Nearly Departed, an adventure where you play a zombie with amnesia, next Nelly The Wonder Dog, "When Nelly's favourite ball is stolen by a greedy beaver, the clever springer spaniel sets off on a wild adventure to get it back!", and finally there's the point'n'click murder mystery the screen shot above is from, which I have my eager grubby paws on now, and which will be online for all soon [thanks adam & jean].
