The Hangman Cheat isn't really a game, it's more of an intellectual investigation of statistics (kind of, at least - no really, I'm not kidding), and it has some ridiculously simple graphics. But despite this the scenario it creates is somewhat compelling. It's you versus the computer. Think WarGames, but with less Global Thermonuclear War (and, unfortunately, less Bueller). Can it guess the word you are thinking of before the poor stick man bites the dust again? Will the computer's unrelenting understanding of letter statistics defeat you once again?
