Fire regulations go by the wayside in Escape Miniatura: Hotel, with escape being far trickier than just opening the door and leaving. Play this one quick, before the Fire Marshals shut the hotel down... [subbed by f00].

You're going to have to complete Gold Rush Escape quickly if you are going to avoid the zombie. And before you get complacent I mean the undead flesh eating kind of zombie, not the nice cocktailly one [subbed by zodiac].

Ski Chalet Escape is a point'n'click game in which you must escape the room... fairly ordinary stuff for your average point'n'click gamer, but remembering my British TV shows of old I hit upon the wheeze of playing the theme tune from Ski Sunday (*) whilst I played. It improves the games to new levels I'm sure the games developer never even thought of. Superb. And now I have this music going round and round in my head. Excellent. And I think it's going to snow here today or tomorrow. Awesome. Anyway.... if you want to join my insanity (and I can easily understand if you'd rather not) try playing Ski Chalet Escape in one tab/window and run the Ski Sunday YouTube clip in another. (*) - Disclaimer: I have absolutely no idea why there is a whole show devoted to skiing on British TV, and why it is on a Sunday. There just is and for some reason people watch it. I have fond memories of watching it as a child despite the fact that I didn't even try skiing until I was in my late twenties (and I was terrible at it).

Whilst historical accuracy might not be one of the main features of StoneAge Sam 2: The Ice Age, it is still an entertaining point'n'click romp thru some nicely rendered scenery, and it did provoke me into going off and reading up on the ice age which has given me my dose of education for the day. Neither this, or the game, has left me feeling any warmer though - it's darn cold outside today, and the 'experts' (er...I googled it) tell me it's only going to be colder tomorrow. Checking my calendar I see that it is Jan 14th, the start of the official pixel hunting season. So load up your pixelgun, release the pixel hounds, and head on over to Seven Escape and see if you can't bag a rascally pixel or seven [subbed by charlie].

I'm not epically certain what's going on in Sutenige 00 Tested (beyond the obvious "escape the room" theme), but it has a cute cat, which, if I'm honest, is just about all I need in a game for me to like it [subbed by zodiac].

Spin The Black Circle is billed as a game, but it also, very proficiently, doubles as a Web 2.0 tool to help you remember every curse and profanity that has ever passed your lips. Not to mention quite a few new ones too... [subbed by Mary].

Locked in a kitchen until you've worked out how to bake a cake, Chocolate Cake Escape delivers not only the familiar satisfaction of escaping a room, but also a tasty choccy cake for you to snack on as you play. And we all love a bit of cake don't we? [subbed by Doc].
