The train spotter is seen as the latest threat to national security - a meeting of US security officials in Washington in March reportedly classified "people sitting on train platforms who appear to be monitoring the timing of arrivals and departures" as suspicious behaviour - at some point today I'm going to stop laughing. Hopefully.

I was just thinking it was about time I added a comments system to the site when this arrived for me ;o) Make your own ransom notes - just for fun! - courtesy of contact sheet [found at coolio's].

Button MakerNeed some buttons for your blog but you lack any artisitic ability or you're just plain lazy? Then try this easy to use button generator which produces a rather nice effect. I can see an explosion of button usage just around the corner...

Snowcrash Cloud
A while back I saw the Snowcrash Netsurfer which I thought was pretty cool - but I think I like this even more. Cloud is a portable inflatable room for meetings, meditating, whatever you like. You could pop down the park for work meetings - awsome.

128Mb of storage in a pen. Keyrings, watches & pens - where will this craze of fitting storage into stuff end? USB storage in a mobile phone might be good - most people carry them everywhere - but what I'm more interested in is the strange end of the market. USB storage pants? 256Mb in your hat? I guess for retro cool a USB floppy disk would be good (stores about 1.44Mb) [via gizmodo].

According to the very scientific analysis of the Pull-O-Meter at thesite I'm a "shy guy" with a 66% chance of pulling. My main failing is that I'm too sensible apparently. I'd winge and moan about the huge inaccuracies of this test if it wasn't for the fact that I thought it was about spot on. Surely tests like this are meant to be fun & meaningless and not reveal your inner feeelings to yourself? I feel slightly cheated [via funjunkie].

The Gaytrix ReloadedThere are lots of Matrix inspired items and parodies around already and it can't be long before we're swamped by them. That's no bad thing in my opinion though and The Gaytrix Reloaded by liquid generation did make me chuckle [found at zFilter].

After my excitment sometime ago about the arrival in the UK of vanilla coke - which I still haven't found in a shop - I was very excited to see you can now buy vanilla absolut. The likelyhood of me and a bottle of that getting together in the near future is very strong and I'm sure the infamous Jules will get in on the act too. However I do draw the line with my vanilla fever at the news that vanilla monster munch is being realeased. Yuk!
