The chilled out vibe, and photo realistic graphics, of the Tipping Point Series continue in Tipping Point 4, which makes for a rather pleasant end to the week [subbed by zodiac].
Fortunately the owners of the garage in Garage Escape come from the popular "the garage is a place to pile up random stuff that I don't want in my house" school of thought (although somewhat tidier that most real world examples), rather than the less popular "the garage is a place to keep my car" camp. This means that there are plenty of items to poke and prod, find and use, in your point'n'click quest to escape, rather than there just being a big ol' car in the way. Of course we could have just hot wired the car and powered on thru the garage door to escape. But that's not how we roll around here, we have more finesse... [subbed by f00].
Rif.escape#1 PAPA is a nice looking game, with a weird sounding name, and possibly the most entertaining door handle sound effect ever. Scroll a little down the linked page to reach the game [subbed by myles].
In Pyramid Escape you'll find out if you can, if you can, oh savor the pun, if you can... walk like an Egyptian. Ahhhhh... [subbed by f00].
Put on your best space suit, and leave a note for the milkman to cancel your order, as we're blasting off into space for a while for a Colony Odyssey [subbed by myles].
Just when you thought you'd never get to use those keyboard adventuring skills learnt in The Phantom Mansion Series ever again, a ship of hope appeared over the horizon in the form of PM2: Black Sea, which would appear to be part one of a whole new series. Ahoy m'hearties... [subbed by Cyberjar88 & Mantari]. NOTE: Fans of the series will know this already, but for everyone else note that this is a top down, old skool graphics, adventure and that my screen shot is from the opening sequence, not 'in game', and is for illustrative, 'ship of hope', purposes only.
In Vent Escape you must crawl around in a dark, monotonously uniform, maze like, ventilation system looking for a way to escape. Which doesn't sound too exciting, so I invented my own back story... *ahem* In Vent Escape you play the role of Bruce Willis locked, by space terrorists, in a room full of fire breathing scorpions at the top of a 37 story tower block due for demolition today. Fortunately, by stripping down to your dirty white undershirt, you have been able to squeeze into the ventilation system, thus avoiding a grizzly burny stingy death at the hands of the scorpions, but now you must escape the vents before the building collapses, dropping you 37 floors to your doom... Yippee-ki-yay muddy funster [subbed by Dom].
