However you would be wronger that Eddie MacWrong, Professor of Wrong Studies at Wrongford University, if you assumed that, because it is, of course, named, by an amazing coincidence, that I don't care to go into, after my long lost great aunt "Wogger Inside 2" from Germany, who had one of the most unusal names in the Rhineland when she was born there in 1921. Most people don't know it, but Gnomes are actually a chemical element, with the chemical symbol 'Gn'. It's hardly surprising that this is not widely known though since most scientists think the inclusion of Gnomes (Gn) on the Periodic Table would make them all look a bit silly, and less respected than they are when colliding bosons and stuff like that. What is surprising though is that 10 Gnomes 9: Chemistry does not even touch on the subject.
