Hunting vigorously through the lazylaces archives for "point'n'click" unearthed the following results...

Esklavos C3
The point'n'click adventures of Ungo and Virop continue in Esklavos C3, the latest release in the nice looking Esklavos Series. And so far I'm enjoying this episode much more than the last, he says trying to forget that swimming debacle, even if I am getting RSI placing rocks and logs, over and over again, as I try and work out what to do once the old lady is out of the hut. I must be missing something, maybe I'll try just one more time... [subbed by lambda].

Handyman Wanted
Handyman Wanted is a point'n'click "graphical adventure", that uses that whole "hold the left hand mouse button" verb disc navigation thing which I'm always quite partial to. In fact it all looks rather nice, my only real complaint being that it's exceptionally dark: I had to do all sorts of weird image manipulation to get the screen shot into a state where you could actually see it. Anyway, here's the official description, which I'm not even going to attempt to put into my own words, of what's happening in the game:

"It was in the summer of 1920 when I came upon the house. I was young and carefree, riding the rails, taking odd jobs. I stopped in a small town and answered an ad for a handyman. It was from the local bank. The letter said they had to foreclose on a house that had a serious family tragedy a few years back. He wanted to me to clean it up and do what repairs were necessary. I couldn't help but get the feeling he was holding something back, but I needed to work. I accepted the job and went out to the house to take a look."

Loose The Moose
Bart's last few games have included some very enjoyable logic puzzles, but Loose The Moose returns to our perennial favourite game style - "Escape The Room" (that's not to say there aren't some point'n'click puzzles to solve though), whilst keeping his familiar, and rather nice, graphical style. Reading in between the lines of the game title I'm guessing that at some point during the course of our quest that we have to loose the moose, judging by the size of the hole in the wall though, I'm assuming it's the small squeaky kind, rather than the large antlery kind. I'm prepared to be proved wrong though. Anyway, I have to go play now... [thanks to Bart & Jay].

Who Killed Roland Johnson
Point'n'Click your way through the clues to discover Who Killed Roland Johnson. You can't beat a good bit of sleuthing on a Wednesday I always say. Well I do now anyway... [subbed by f00].

Beans!
Beans is a short, but savoury (pun alert!), point'n'click adventure. Post a walkthru, I dare you... [subbed by HunterThompsonWanabe].

The Apothecary of Ostia
The Apothecary of Ostia is the nice looking, nice sounding, but easy to play (it's intended for kids though), second instalment of The BBC's Roman Mysteries point'n'click series [subbed by sassymom08].

Incognitus Asleep in the Deep
Incognitus Asleep in the Deep sees you trapped in a room that's filling with water and has faulty electrical connections on the wall. Using your point'n'click skills to escape the room as quickly as possible would seem to be a wise course of action... [subbed by winniethepooh, Eric & some1].

TLFMER 2
In TLFMER 2 our goal, once again, is to escape the room, which is a goal we all know and love from many a point'n'click game played. This one has more pictures of ducks than your normal game though, and why not? I'm always bemoaning the lack of duck pictures in these things. Anyway, I have only just started playing this one, but it's obvious, even to a fool like me, that at some point we're going to need a door or window or some such, unless we find some magic powers to get us out. And finally, if you like this game you can also try TLFMER or Head Fi from the same author [subbed by Pahsimeroi, some1, Sophie & winniethepooh].

Old Castle
Explore the Old Castle, find an artefact, and leave a dangerous vault, all with only your trusty point'n'click skills to guide you. Before all that though, there's the small matter of getting into the castle to attend to... oh, and waiting for the thing to load, which seemed to take ages, for reasons I couldn't work out [subbed by Escaper & winniethepooh].

Agent Scarecrow 1
Hot out of my inbox is news from JB (creator of the Jack French games) of the start of his new point'n'click game series, "Agent Scarecrow". Judging by the links on the page - not all active yet - there are going to be three chapters in total, but for now just Chapter 1 - The Birth Of Scarecrow is a available to play. And I gather from the, frustratingly "to be continued" style, end of this episode (I couldn't resist playing thru to the end before I posted) there will be two versions of Chapter 2 when it comes out, depending upon who you decide to call in the final sequence of this chapter, which I guess means we will all be playing thru this one at least twice :) Anyway over to JB for his description of the game:

Agent Scarecrow - Chapter 1 - now available.

Mike is your average 20-year old guy. One day, Mike is mistaken for a secret agent and gets involved in a crazy adventure. Along the storyline, Mike gets to travel around the World... with little time to make friends.

Agent Scarecrow, is a "choose your own" actionventure game. i.e. it combines point-and-click elements with fighting and shooting scenes. Also, your decisions will dictate the course of the story.

[subbed and created by JB].
