Just a quick reminder if you are in the UK that you should have set your clocks forward one hour last night. Yes, despite want you might think when you see the grey clouds and rain outside your window, we're now operating on summer time. Did you forget? I know I did. I'm not 100% certain if the rest of Europe, or indeed, anywhere else, changes their clocks on the same date so even if you aren't in the UK you still might want to check the time in case you are operating one hour in the past.

I can't work out how the Live Action Simpsons Intro came about. Did some random group of people make it and release it on the internet and then Sky bought it to actually advertise the show, or was it commissioned as an advert for the show and it was released "virally" before it actually appeared on television? Either way it's all over television and the intenet now, and I love it. It also gives me a great excuse for embedding a google video which I've been meaning to try out for a while now.

Jezebel
Continuing the Lazylaces musical Friday theme I'd like to send a big shout out to regular commentor Vivian who has just sorted me out with her bands' CD (the euros are in the post Viv) direct from Norway. Checkout Jezebel's, sounds on their website (click "media" & "listen"), my fav track is Simple Solutions. Superb.

Crazy
It's a Lazylaces Friday music thing! Yes I'm resurrecting the long lost Lazylaces musical Friday. My latest download this week is "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley, which, if the download charts are anything to go by, will be #1 in the UK chart upon it's full release. Anyway, what I want to know is what's your latest downloaded track? Leave the info in the comments, with a link to an audio clip for extra brownie points...

Silly Walk Generator
I work in London, I wear a suit to work. When it's rainy I carry an umbrella. I don't wear a bowler hat, but I could be persuaded to as part of a bet. And yet I have never done a "silly walk". Fortunately I can now use the on-line Silly Walk Generator to placate my silly walk urge, without anyone thinking I should be locked up.

Waterboy
I ignore my own rule about trying to post something musical on a Friday often enough that I may as well go ahead and post one on a Tuesday instead and totally break my own rules. Oh the anarchy. Anyway, Waterboy landed in my intray from Chris, via the beautiful Tara. Remember to sing-a-long everybody:

Check this out! There sure are some great geniuses out there in the field of Graphic Arts. It is pretty amazing, the thought that went into creating this short video.

In this highly praised animated spot, a drop of water with a personality of its own climbs out of a glass. To Evian's signature remix of the Queen song "We Will Rock You", the watery sprite enjoys a series of adventures {make sure your volume isn't up too too loud if you're at work - but DO have it on, it really makes the video!}

Animated spot? Shouldn't that be animated splash? ;o) [subbed by tara & chris]

Tweesercize
Quandary of the day is - who is cooler? Strong Bad or Homestar? I always thought it was Strong Bad, no question, but now I'm really getting into Tweesercize, I'm not so sure. Homestar has certainly got the moves.

Rate My Turban
I have no idea why, but turbans always make me laugh. I fully respect Sikhism, or indeed any other religion where turban wearing is the norm, but turbans always make me giggle incessantly. Is that weird? Probably. Anyway if you are as strange as me, Rate My Turban represents may hours of disturbing chuckles [thanks SJ].

Sand Fantasy
Music Friday returns to lazylaces (yet again) with Sand Fantasy. The artist, Ilana Yahav, creates scenes and forms using a backlit glass table and sand poured from her hands. And since it's set to music, it's a good fit for today, besides the simple beauty of it. A relaxing way to wind down from the working week [subbed by vacklay].

George's Answering Machine Message
Pappasmurf (I'm doubting whether it was the real one - call me a cynic) submitted George's Answering Machine Message stating "I can't get this damn song out of my head, So I thought I'd inflict it on y'all". Now I'm stuck with it too, I pass on the pain to you all with this link [subbed by pappasmurf].

If you are looking for a huge source of "un-information" look no further than The Uncyclopedia. Check out the entry on the iPod for a typical example of the help offered by this essential on-line guide [subbed by Clairey].
