I don't know why I haven't got round to posting Click Drag Type before, maybe it's because I'm lazy and it just sounds like so much effort. I mean, Click, Drag and Type? That's one more thing than point'n'click! Anyway, the aim of the game is to solve the puzzles by, guess what, clicking, dragging and typing. And it's not actually too much effort when you try it [subbed by Rhonda, Nej, and many others who aren't in my inbox anymore...].

In Roman Rumble (a bouncing squirrel game - funny looking purple squirrel though), you have to bounce along the tops of several Roman columns and collect coins and other goodies... all the while dodging the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. Or, rather, the swords and sharp pointy things that come hurling out of nowhere at you [subbed by ferrgus].

There's some really creepy point'n'click weirdness in Siren 2. This is definitely one to play alone, late at night, with the sound up, in an abandoned mansion, after your car has "broken down", and the children from the village have been mysteriously disappearing, and old man Caruthers, the fairground owner, has been seen out late at night carrying an axe...*ahem*... anyway... What text there is in the game (documents you find, and what have you), is in Japanese, but that's probably a good thing, as I'm sure it would only make the thing even more spook-tastic if you actually understood what was said, and it has spookiness in bucket loads anyway [subbed by eb, winniethepooh & Daremaster Spoodle].

Jigsaw's Escape is your standard "escape the room" style point'n'click game. Except the room is filling with deadly nerve gas (although I haven't seen any evidence of this yet). And there are grenades strapped to the roof. That's just not friendly... [subbed by princess & winniethepooh].

Leon & The Terracotta Murders is the, not quite as weird, but still pretty strange, follow up to the very bizarre Leon & The Magic Sturgeon. According to the game notes there are over 30 minutes of sound in the game, which I guess means it's quite a long point'n'click adventure, but having played for a while I'm guessing most of those 30 minutes are the soundtrack to you trying to get the tricky movement controls to do want you want. Other than those it's a great game [subbed by A Fellow Fan].

In Trapped Episode 1 you have to escape the room, by using your finely honed point'n'click skills. And when I say finely honed I mean finely honed, some of the places you have to click are tiny, and don't think that the [TAB] key is going to save you either [via nordinho].

First of all I warn you not get too frustrated by Enschouse it's not in English, at points it's very hard to control, and there's no real end. In fact I couldn't get passed the sliding puzzle at all without using the [TAB] key to find a hidden hotspot. So why am I including it? Well it looks great, and I really wanted it to be a full blown point'n'click adventure rather than the dead end it turned into. Hopefuly the author will come back to it and finish it off some day [via doodoo.ru].
Footnote: A big thanks to doodoo.ru for entertaining me this Sunday and letting me catch up with some Point'n'clickery I obviously missed first time round (even if some of the advertising it carries is a little dubious).

Haunted House Massacre is not a game to let the kids play. That much you may have guessed from the name. It's a very simple to complete point'n'click horror based adventure, with some nice atmospheric bits (play with the lights down, and the volume up). The major let down is that you can complete the game without even visiting the majority of the rooms that build the tension up, even if you do though the game is over all too quickly [via doodoo.ru].

Find Small Men is a point'n'click game, and if you look at the picture above you might be thinking "there's a computer on a desk, with a wastepaper basket right next to it - this is obviously an escape the room style game". Well wrong. This is something completely different. Your task is to find all of the smalll men (they're like talking Jelly babies) hidden in each level, against a time limit. If you fail you have to go right back to the begining, and the small men change position every time you play, which makes cheating pretty hard. Unless you use the [TAB] key. But I know you would never do that [via doodoo.ru].

Nyctalopia is a very surreal little point'n'click game, which really is quite different. Finding codes, collecting objects, and solving a rebus (!) are all methods used to progress between levels. Very nice, but very bizarre [via doodoo.ru].

If you liked 5 Days A Stranger, then you'll be pleased to know that the point'n'click follow up game, 7 Days a Skeptic, from the same author is also available as a free download. Once again the link to do the download requires a bit of hunting but it's well worth the effort. This one is set in the future, aboard The Mephistopheles, a small ageing spacecraft:
The crew of the Mephistopheles discover an unknown artefact floating unprotected in deep space: an ancient metal locker. Ignoring advice from the Federation to leave it for a research vessel, the captain brings it aboard and prepares to lift the lid...

5 Days A Stranger is yet another large-ish point'n'click adventure available for download. I think I prefer playing these on-line, rather than having to download and install, but hey, I'll take a quality point'n'click adventure wherever I can find it. So what's 5 Days A Stranger all about? I'll hand over to the author's description as it's much better than anything I'll come up with:
Get in, get the loot, get out... that's how it usually goes for master cat burglar Trilby. But after he breaks into the supposedly vacated country manor erstwhile of the aristocratic DeFoe family, he quickly finds that things are not that simple. Together with a group of strangers, he finds himself imprisoned by some invisible intelligence. A force prepared to do anything to keep them there. Up to and including murder...
As the killings begin and suspicion threatens to tear the group apart, it's up to Trilby to unite his squabbling companions and destroy the supernatural entity that victimises them. But what exactly is it? What is the dark secret attached to DeFoe Manor? And what is the significance of the masked maniac who haunts their dreams?
Excellent. Note: The links to download the game (there are a few to choose from) are about halfway down the linked page [subbed by Kim].
