Gareth Gates sings with his backing band The Stammers. For those not in the know - ie anyone outside the UK or without a TV -
Gareth Gates is a pop star with a stammer made famous through the
Pop Idol TV series - he actually came second in the show but that hasn't stopped him becoming possibly a greater sucess than
the winner. Good to see
Max Headroom and
Arkwright making a comeback as part of the backing group.

Dressing for IT success - why techies are
dressing for success and the days of
geek chic are gone. We're one month into our new dress code policy in my office - after being totally anti at the start I really like it now - somehow it feels right - especially since we've upgraded all our hardware as well - we're one smart office now. Still dumb as
toast though ;o) One thing though -
shirts - how much do I hate
ironing? Wearing t-shirts might not be smart but it doesn't involve bloody
ironing. Although my crumpled appearance from not
ironing my shirt may have contributed to the new dress code I guess...

First there was the
switch campaign - soon
Ellen Feiss became a star out of knowhere - then the
Dark Side switch appeared - the
Linux switch turned the original slightly on it's head - the
Canadian switch amused - and now finally the
Homestar switch is with us. Now all we need is a Strong Bad switch - get awsome!

Allegations that
David Hasselhoff is the anti-christ. It would all seem far fetched if it wasn't for the large amount of compelling evidence. Fortunately even though the devil incarnate is stalking the earth - well the bits with sun drenched beaches - my $25
immortality ring courtesy of Mr Chiu will protect me. Oh and of course I'm at least several hundred miles away from the nearest sun drenched beach.
Take the test to see
which Operating System you are. I'm ashamed to admit that I came out as Windows 98 - I obviously did something very wrong in a past life.

The old fashioned rivallry between chilli pepper and banana is played out through the medium of dance. Do not ask why this exists just marvel that it does.
A fantastic pictorial guide to the streets of London which I've finally posted after seeing this - and loving it - linked from virtually every UK blog I've visited. My only complaint is that there are no guides to anything South of the River - although Borough Market - just down the road from where I work - is covered in the
market guide. Anyway a good guide for visitors and interesting for locals.
A full
list of all the hidden bits in
Strong Bad's e-mails - if you get the bandwidth exceeded message for this site try the
google cache. Like I needed an excuse to read them all again.
Update: A list of Strong Bad e-mail
easter eggs is also available at
homstarrunner.net.
Surely the most illegal car in the world - looking suspiciously like a East European Fiat 125 - goes for a spin [14Mb].

Not suitable for weirdy vegitarians - it's the
British Lard Marketing Board website. Finally a home for fine British cuisine on the web. I also liked the guide to
biscuit dunking on the affiliate site -
biscuit.org.uk. Eating's not all about roast beef, fish & chips and
chicken tikka massala in the UK you know? But it is mostly.
You may think you can
write good haiku but sometimes
bad haiku can be a good read too.

It's the soundboard we've all been waiting for - the
Strong Bad soundboard. Use the soundboard to make
Homestar say a certain 7 word phase to crack open the Strong Bad version. I'm not going to spoil anybody's fun if they want to work it out for themselves - but if you just can't work it out - or can't be bothered to work it out (shame on you!) - use the mail link at the bottom of the page and I'll send you the phrase by return.
