Hunting vigorously through the lazylaces archives for "point'n'click" unearthed the following results...
BlivOfficer is a
point'n'click game, but I'm too busy playing the sub-game, "guess the language", to work out the pointy and clicky bits right now. I'm tending towards something Scandinavian - in fact I'm going to guess "Norwegian", I think they have those "o"'s with a strike through them like old skool computer zeros. Guesses upon language and gameplay in the
comments as usual [

Update: Darn it's Danish - I was wrong - thanks folks.
You are out trick or treating in your ghost costume when it starts raining. What are you to do? Take refuge in the big scary house of course! Oh dear, the door shuts behind you and you are trapped. Well, I didn't see that coming.
Jinx might not have the most original storyline in the world, it might be immensely easy to work out the puzzles (really they are very easy), but it's also oh so cute. I had a smile on my face the whole time I was playing - brighten up a few minutes of your Tuesday with
Jinx.
Update: I even liked the cheesy ending. I can't wait for episode 2, no matter how easy this was.
The
first submachine was very popular so I was pleased to hear from murtaugh that there is now a
new extended version:
If you've played Submachine before and think you've seen it all... think again. In this extended version there are twice as many rooms to explore and twice the fun. Solve the new puzzle and see the altered ending.take a sneak preview of the Submachine 2 before its even finished.
If you're an submachine addict already, think of this as a warm up for the sequel to this game.

Ankh is a puzzle in a
not pr0n style with pretty graphics - which is no bad thing [

It's
not not pr0n, but
This Is Not Po*n. But it's not dis-similar. Right that's enough nots they're getting me in knots, much like this puzzler that's not (I said that was enough "nots" - ed) a
point'n'click game, but that kind of brain will definately come in handy. Not. Arrrrggggh! [

I haven't really had time to play
Aquaria, I'm still not back at my home PC, but it looks like a very promising
point'n'clicker. From a quick look round the graphics are very good. My guess without reading whaever language it's in, and without having completed it, is to escape the aquarium, so it should be some relatively familiar territory for you [

I'm not a big fan of
Waking The Dead on television, but it's watchable if I'm near a TV when it's on, and as usual the
bbc web team have come up trumps with the
web game associated with the series - a nice slice of
point'n'click murder investigation. I'll hand you over to Tracyjay, who submitted the link, for the detailed description:
Fed up of watching this or any other cop drama and screaming at the telly "Its obvious who dunnit!"? Well have a go at this gory game.
You are a member of the Cold case team, you don't have to have watched the programme to play, though it helps speed things up if you know the characters. There is a time limit, and no, I didnt solve it...yet. It helps to make notes or maybe I am just thick. Anyway cool graphics, and gory storyline. Enjoy!

They're not
point'n'click games but the 3
Alpha Team adventures still have me hooked as they let me relive my passion for playing with lego. Now all I need to do is think of a way that playing these can be described as helping to do the work I'm meant to be doing today.
Escape From Rhetundo Island is a nice, quirky,
point'n'click game which you should be able to picture from Lynn's succinct description:
"
From the same guy that did Hapland"
That's all you need to know I believe [subbed by lynn].
You're minding your own business sitting at your desk and a
point'n'click adventure arrives in a
package by post. Well it makes a change from waking up in locked rooms. You now have 15 minutes to solve it before you blow up. Typical. It's never good news is it? [

Hey, now we get
Lost on UK television, the old "
I am lost" game has been removed (I didn't know what it was when I first played, and now it's one of my favourite shows). Anyway all is not... er... lost..., as there's the new
Lost Survival Mission to play with. Over to Merel for the info on this new, slightly unusual,
point'n'click game:
The old ''I Am Lost'' game is gone, but now you can play this "Survival Mission''. Point, click and drag. You're on a tropical island, and you have to collect items to keep your health, water and food level ok. But you can only carry 8 items, you can discard them in order to pick up new items. Choose well, or else you'll die.
I love all things to do with Lost so I'm slightly biased on this one, but it is a fun game, and just like the series the jungle looks excellent

Hmmmm.... black and white graphics, funeral music, and a rapidly expanding collection of body parts. Combined with the fact that it's called "
Penance", you know that there's something deeply wrong in this little
point'n'click adventure [
