StenotypeWhat's that thingy court reporters type on? I'm filing this under things you didn't know you wanted to know until you knew them. I'm fascinated about how the whole 22-key thing works - especially as looking at a picture the keys aren't even marked (and that's on the 'student' model). That's more l33t than that l33t keyboard that's been doing the rounds recently.

Bang Bang
One of my favourite radio tunes of the moment in handy flash card format - Audio Bullys v that tune from Kill Bill (I think anyway, for some reason I still haven't seen that film yet). Click on the video link to get the full thing.

Switch Off
I'm not totally sure I understand this new switch campaign:

More people are interested in switching off their PCs & Macs than ever before. See why they made the change and how easy it was. Discover how compatible you are with other people. Learn about all the great ways getting out more will give you a better life. And understand how a simple outdoor activity can make your life easier and your possibilities endless.

I don't think my PC, or my Mac, has an "off switch".

The Ringing
The horrors of traditional telephony are highlighted in this film advert for VoIP. I'll overlook the fact that network cabling looks stunningly like telephone cables, and is invariably more plentiful in your typical office, as it would slightly spoil the whole concept of the film [thanks nicki].

The Jedi Song
The Jedi resort to online viral advertising tactics with the Jedi Song to gain new recruits. Surely mind tricks should be enough on their own to persuade people to join though? Perhaps it is a mind trick - "La La LaLaLa" is certainly stuck in my head.

Ps. Is it just me or is there lots of Star Wars related stuff on the internet at the moment? It's almost like they released another film or something...

Fragile Circus
The surreal world of The Fragile Circus begs the questions - "huh?" and "what the?". To be filed under cool but weird.

42 Below Britain
I'm not really certain I should find this Kiwi view of Britain funny, but it contains a few humorous home truths [thanks(?) phillydad].

The Sith Sense
Can Lord Vader read your mind? You better get those Jedi mind tricks at the ready if you want to try and beat him [thanks Hazel].

Force-O-Meter
Are you drawn to the light or dark side of the force? If you don't know already (your plans for intergalactic domination might be a subtle clue) the force-o-meter will tell you. I won't tell you my result, but let's just say that if I was to become manager of an ice-hockey team I would insist that they wear identical shiny body armour.

Good To Be Square
I challenge you not to feel good after watching and listening to "Good To Be Square, it's exactly what I need halfway through what's turning out to be a particularly tough week. "Oh child, things are going to get easier..." I certainly hope so. The cynic in me says this is probably a viral for something, but it could just be a thing of genuine lovliness.

Pu's Tota
My Monday has been as grim as Mondays usually are so the weird and disturbing world of Pu's Tota suits my mood down to the ground. Great animation though.
