Hunting vigorously through the lazylaces archives for "point'n'click" unearthed the following results...
Definately falling into the 'weird' school of point'n'click gaming, it's even pretty tricky to work how to start playing Dareka (I'm not even totally convinced I'm getting it right now). Of course the whole "not understanding the language" thing probably doesn't help, I'm guessing. Good luck [thanks Incog Neato].

Such a new arrival into my point'n'click inbox that I've barely had time to wonder around a couple of rooms, the Mansion certainly looks good, but I'm guessing that the word 'demo' in the URL might mean all the gameplay isn't there yet. However I know you guys like to get these things as soon as possible so here it is. Let the bitchy infighting, er, I mean commenting begin...[thanks MzDimplz].

Change all the spheres into cubes in this short & weird, but very cute, point'n'click game [thanks to everyone that sent this in].

I'm all for breaking new ground in point'n'click games, there are only so many times that escaping a room can seem like a new and interesting challenge, but I'm not really sure how I feel about the objective of a game being to learn more Canadian history. That's exactly the goal SOS History sets us though. Odd [thanks tabby].

To fully appreciate it you have to play The Grudge under the right conditions. Don't get me wrong, this is a great point'n'click game anyway, and it will spook you out, but I first played this in my flat, alone, at midnight, in the dark, with the sound up loud on my headphones. Try it. If you don't know what goose bumps are you soon will do. Guaranteed to set your pulse racing [thanks sam].

I'm not sure if game is the right way to describe it, Galactor is a bizarre point'n'click thing. Good luck finding your barings [thanks Incog Neato].

The user interface for TrueLove will be familiar to you if you played MilkoGame the other day as this point'n'click game is from the same designers, and the graphic style is not too different either, which is no bad thing imho. The question on everyone's lips though, is can you find your true love? I've personally been trying to suceed at this game for almost a couple of decades now without much luck, so I'll be interested to see your hints in the comments ;o) Better still if one of the lazylaces ladeez could give me a walkthru... [thanks debbie].

Sherlock was described to me as a point'n'click game, but it's really nothing more than a flash version of the old 'spot the difference' game. However the basic point'n'click cheat does work with it, you know - that key, which means that if you really drag it out all 5 levels can be done in about 30 seconds. A discussion about how lame this is will ensue in the comments I'm sure...

It might be a garage rather than a room, the computer might not be a Mac (or look like one at least), but the point'n'clicker in you will still get the idea: must escape confined space by over using mouse type device....clickerty click [ta Incog Neato].

Red Devil 2 might swap the use of a mouse for having to press the cursor and space keys but it's still got point'n'click written all over it (albeit figuratively). Shiny disco balls to you all (arrrrgh that song).

Regular point'n'click games not hard enough? Creepy atmosphere doesn't freak you out? Sprechen Sie Deutsches? If you answered yes so far you're probably feeling pretty smug, so Saw Das Spiel chucks a ten minute time limit into the mix to try to cut you down to size. Good luck [thanks Incog Neato].

The last of this week's point'n'click-fest, Driven is a dark adventure where the lack of new fangled things like flash mean that your first task is to pick your browser carefully. I got lots of broken links using Opera and FF, meaning I had to resort to *shudder* Internet Explorer. If that doesn't make a game creepy I don't know what does. It does mean though that the tab key cheat is rendered useless - so there'll be no cheating.
