You know the drill now. On-line adventure game. Point'n'click a lot, collect the objects, escape the room...need I go on? Seriously though this looks like a good one if you can handle any more of this type of game [big linky thanks to nexus].

You are in an open field west of a big white house with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here. BTW - 404 : The page you requested could not be found. The ultimate 404 page doesn't trouble you with details of mis-typed URLs, but lets you play a nice game of Zork. *Bliss* [via kost].

Even more point'n'click flash game adventure fun. Terra Realms seems a bit more difficult than Leo's Great Day since I didn't complete it in the first 10 minutes of play, and I now seem to be disorientated in a cave. Anyway, just how many of these things I play until part 2 of the Crimson Room arrives I don't know, but I haven't got bored of them yet.

Help Leo escape his buried home, as he has a very bad Monday, in this point'n'click adventure game. Kind of along the same lines as the Crimson Room, but not nearly as challenging. Cute graphics though.

The Crimson Room
I drank too much last night. I thought what time it was now. I felt thirst of the throat. The bed was different from usual. Is this a hotel? No, it does not seem to be a hotel. I am shut up. I have to escape...

Can you escape the Crimson Room? Put your thinking hat on, collect the objects, click, click again, and click some more, in this tricky puzzle game. It took me a while, but I got out in the end (post for help via the comments if you need it), can anyone tell me what the CD case was for though?

Penguin Vrs Yeti
Judging by the number of dead sites I've encountered that did host this game, and the number of names it's already acquired (penguin &amp yeti, smack the pingu, and pingvin, amongst others) this is one popular piece of flash fun, but it is well worth trying to track down. Who knew trying to bash a penguin with a baseball bat would be sooo much fun :o) Anyway try this link, or this one which were working at the time of posting to play on-line, or I have a downloaded copy I could mail you if you have no luck (my mail address is at the bottom of page) [originally via hazel].

PS. My high score is 588.8, and Hazel's is a record 593.5. Is your's any better, and if so, what's your secret?

Update: Only 2 days later and the two original links I had for this game have already disappeared. I've updated them with 2 links that are working today (24/01/04) but obviously they may in turn disappear pretty soon. Good luck finding a copy of this game, and if don't have any luck I still have a downloaded version if you'd like me to mail it to you.

Update Again: I've re-updated the links as this games move around the web once more (26/01/04).

Official Update: Play the official version on-line. Thanks to genius Chris for the link - we're not worthy!

This has to be one of the most addictive on-line games I've seen for some time. The idea of the game, like all good games, is simple. Get the little ball from A to B without touching the ground by constructing Mouse-Trap-esque tracks for the ball to travel along.

Add the fact that the puzzles you complete are set by other players, you can set your own puzzles, rate the puzzles you play, and you're continually shown your position on the leader table, and it's not long before you are totally sucked in. After an extended period of play I'm still only in the top 8000 players though which suggests I'm not alone in my addiction. *Recommended*

Waste huge amounts of time on-line with hangman - you don't even need a friend to play it with *phew*. Finally a replacement for MS Patience for those bored computing moments.

Don't be disappointed by the lack of an Etch-a-Sketch in your Christmas stocking - use the on-line version. Complete with realistic shaking sound, and no embarassing evidence of how childish you are to be left laying around your home. *joy*

I've no objections at all to viral gaming as long as the game is cheesy and Christmasy enough. Deliver all the kids presents in this game where Defender meets Santa meets The Dambusters.
