The aim of the game in
Abandoned X is to roll up your sleeves and get down to some serious cleaning because, let me tell you, the old abandoned asylum is disgustingly
filthy. Even with the poor lighting conditions it's making me
sick in my mouth, and it's going to get take more than few bottles of
Cillit Bang to get this place cleaned up to an acceptable standard. Then, once you are done with that, you can also collect purple orbs. And maybe even try to escape. After that I recommend a shower, or a lovely bubble bath, maybe with that nice bottle of lavender stuff you've been saving? Then, later, tea and hot buttered toast sounds like it would round off the whole worrisome experience rather nicely [

As you play
Bremen Town Musicians and you get to the bits where a turtle takes a picture of a cat, and then a mole cleans a window, you just
know that it's all going to end up with you rescuing a donkey. It's all
so predictable. Alternatively you might just be totally bamboozled by the whole thing, then try and look up
"Town Musicians of Bremen" on wikipedia, and still be none the wiser about what you just played. It's great
stuff though, it really is.
In
Jan's Room 4 you're set the improbable task of escaping from a bar... I can only assume they have finally asked you to settle your ongoing tab. Quick run for the door! But of course, it's locked, with some kind of overly ingenious puzzle lock... [

School Room Escape you have been locked in a room as punishment by a teacher and you must escape before your guitar playing friend (just learn. another. song. damn you) drives you insane. Just remember to report the teacher to child services and the fire department (locked in a room; what if there was a fire?) once you are out.

Outside Puzzle Escape to turn your mind inside out. You've escaped rooms, shops, houses, asylums, offices, gyms, prisons, castles, basements, windmills, to

The first thing that sprang to mind when I heard the title "
Ladies Gym Escape" was some kind of
Benny Hill-esque chase sequence, but it turns out the game is nothing like that (shame), and the soundtrack is actually significantly poorer. In fact I should tell you now that the mute button for the game is in the bottom left-hand corner between "pause" and "hint". You need this information up front as you're going to need it very,
very, quickly once the game has loaded [

Use the yellow button in the bottom left of
Roof Escape 2 to change the language and add hints (it makes for a slightly easier game!), but I still can't work out how/why there is piped music on a roof...? [

I found getting the portcullis open in
Tribal Prison Escape relatively easy, but now I'm stuck on what to do next... still, quite a nice little game for an easy Sunday morning and I'm sure I'll come back to it later today [
