Just Escape is the title, ethos and goal of this point'n'click game encapsulated in just two words. The only thing I would add is that any game that features a table full of tablets and a syringe may not be totally suitable for children. Just say no kids [subbed by Escaper, Sophie & winniethepooh].

Great. It's Friday, the weekend is just around the corner, and there's a new Gotmail game, called "The Shochu Bar", for us to point'n'click around today whilst we should be working. That's after we've finished waiting for it to load (point'n'click quality takes time to arrive apparently). The only question is, what is Shochu? [subbed by anon, Mantari, laragosta & Nicop].

Biggification is a nice time wasting, coffee break filling, arcade game, with a chilled out soundtrack. The aim of the game is to collect the orbs as they appear on screen, you get more points the earlier you catch them, with bonus points for collecting orbs of the same colour consecutively. The game ends when one orb touches another [subbed by f00].

The point'n'click adventures of Ungo and Virop continue in Esklavos C3, the latest release in the nice looking Esklavos Series. And so far I'm enjoying this episode much more than the last, he says trying to forget that swimming debacle, even if I am getting RSI placing rocks and logs, over and over again, as I try and work out what to do once the old lady is out of the hut. I must be missing something, maybe I'll try just one more time... [subbed by lambda].

Handyman Wanted is a point'n'click
"graphical adventure", that uses that whole "hold the left hand mouse button" verb disc navigation thing which I'm always quite partial to. In fact it all looks rather nice, my only real complaint being that it's exceptionally dark: I had to do all sorts of weird image manipulation to get the screen shot into a state where you could actually see it. Anyway, here's the official description, which I'm not even going to attempt to put into my own words, of what's happening in the game:
"It was in the summer of 1920 when I came upon the house. I was young and carefree, riding the rails, taking odd jobs. I stopped in a small town and answered an ad for a handyman. It was from the local bank. The letter said they had to foreclose on a house that had a serious family tragedy a few years back. He wanted to me to clean it up and do what repairs were necessary. I couldn't help but get the feeling he was holding something back, but I needed to work. I accepted the job and went out to the house to take a look."

Funny Farm is a nice web implementation of a word association game, which has a simplistic feel to it at first glance, but is really so much trickier, and very addiciting. You start with one phrase "On The Farm", and then type in the words you associate with that phrase, if they match up with those in the game they appear on the "word web" (for want of a better phrase) in green. You can see the start of my game in the pic above (strict non-cheaters look away now), but there are a whole 24 more additional screens after this, all linked together, so I don't think I'm spoiling too much. I'm thinking that this one is going to take some time to complete, so the save game, and even collaborate game, features will no doubt come in handy [subbed by Kaylan, vacklay, Nina, & anon].

Bart's last few games have included some very enjoyable logic puzzles, but Loose The Moose returns to our perennial favourite game style - "Escape The Room" (that's not to say there aren't some point'n'click puzzles to solve though), whilst keeping his familiar, and rather nice, graphical style. Reading in between the lines of the game title I'm guessing that at some point during the course of our quest that we have to loose the moose, judging by the size of the hole in the wall though, I'm assuming it's the small squeaky kind, rather than the large antlery kind. I'm prepared to be proved wrong though. Anyway, I have to go play now... [thanks to Bart & Jay].

Point'n'Click your way through the clues to discover Who Killed Roland Johnson. You can't beat a good bit of sleuthing on a Wednesday I always say. Well I do now anyway... [subbed by f00].

Pepere.org is home to a suite of unusual, but rather nice, arcade games, and their latest, "Crazy Mammoths" (click on the pic to play), is no exception. Controlling the game is "easy", or "totally unsatisfactory" if you are a control freak (don't look at me like that), as you only need your [SPACE BAR] to jump and that's it. There are no other controls. Simple (?). The aim of the game is to slide your mammoth down the ice slope the fastest (yes I am aware it's virtually June and ice slopes are in short supply - do I look bovvered?). Insane, but possibly dull? Then try the four player game, which will have you, and three friends, crowded around your keyboard (breaking it). Please forward submissions for keyboard repairs to Pepere.org, and not me. Ta! The Apothecary of Ostia is the nice looking, nice sounding, but easy to play (it's intended for kids though), second instalment of The BBC's Roman Mysteries point'n'click series [subbed by sassymom08].
