The Victorian Period (the game, not the period in history) is an odd sort of a
point'n'click game, kind of click'n'interact more than anything else (or a multi-choice test if you are real "the glass is half empty" kind of person), but it's fun none the less. The idea of the game is to earn your place in a world where every move is governed by the rules of etiquette, a cinch for a polite gent such as myself. The graphics are great, the music amusing, and the animation is more than a little bit pythonesque [

Light Mystery is a pleasant, if a little short and easy, room escaping
point'n'click game. I'm not sure about some of the logic though. I open the curtains and a sword falls out? That's got to be a little dangerous. They better not let the
Health & Saftety Executive visit, there might be trouble [

I Love Dragon Quest isn't so much a game, as an anti-game, as you try to interrupt Nobu's game playing fun by
point'n'clicking different objects in his room (watch for the sparkles). Try it a few times to get all his different reactions [

There's some fairly dodgy language in
Point&Click Adventure so if you have sensitive ears (er... or eyes), or if you have youngsters nearby forget it. For the rest of you this is just a short
point'n'clicker; get washed, eat, and get out. Don't electrocute yourself. My advice? Pick track 2 on the music selector [

Hopping Ham (everybody take a moment to say *ahhhh*) is back for another
point'n'click adventure in
Hopping Ham's South Island Adventure. There are actually two episodes to the game, but as far as I can tell you cannot play episode 2 until episode 1 is complete, which means you are going to have to complete that tricky pogostick basketball thing which I'm currently stuck on. Drat [

If I remember my techie acronyms correctly "SE" stands for "Special Edition", unfortunately there isn't much special about
Room Escaper SE. It's all over far too quickly with some basic
point'n'clicking. Although you will probably jump at least once. Oh, and while I'm thinking about it, you probably don't want the kids to play it [

The Esc I'm thinking I have to escape the room. The game's title and the locked door are a dead giveaway. Just as well, as all the Japanese text (I assume it's Japanese anyway) is no help to me at all. Mental note to self: learn Japanese to make these things easier. For now I just have a whole heap of objects and no idea what to do with them. Why won't CD's go in the CD player? I can see lots more

Apparently

Jay Is a while back, but I must have been asleep that day as I don't remember it. Anyway having played for a little while I've decided that perhaps staying asleep would have been a good idea. It's a fiendish
point'n'click puzzle. Well it's too much for my feeble brain anyway. I've only got passed the first bit so far [

Alfa you have to
point'n'click yourself a path through the treacherous traps to "escape into a world of colour". The trick is to click on the right thing at the right time. Fans of

Not so much
point'n'click as click'n'kill,
Tactical Assassin probably isn't one to let the kids play, even if the people are stick figures and the blood is little red scribbles. For the rest of us there are a number of assassination missions to go on, of increasing levels of difficulty as time goes on (it starts very easy), find your target(s), aim, then click'n'kill. Maybe it's a little bit blood thirsty for first thing on a Tuesday, but then again if you've just had 4 days off work, and this is your first day back in the office, it maybe the perfect thing to blow off a bit of steam [
