I think this game's name, Pis, must lose something in the journey from Danish into English - at least I hope so. Anyway this is your basic target shooting game with the added distraction of someone called John Schmidt shouting at you in Danish. The slightly surreal feel is also heightened in level one where you are attacked with petrol bombs and bricks - fair enough - but also catapults. Hardly international terrorist weaponery I would have thought - but what would I know? Perhaps the UN are hunting down all the catapults and any young boys with a striking resemblance to Dennis The Menance in Iraq even as we speak.

Chasm

It's your job to restore the water supply to Chasmtown before the big game starts and the cold beer supply runs dry in this neat Flash game. Don't be fooled by the cute graphics and audio - some tricky puzzles lie within and I think it's going to be a while before I figure it out - or maybe slightly less time for me to cave in and get hints from the forum [Found at Wastrel Division].

S-wing

Cute little flash game - see how high you can swing. My top tip is to start the game with the mouse button pressed otherwise it's all over rather quickly. Then it's a matter of raising your legs by clicking and holding down the mouse button on each forward swing. I thought I was doing rather well but once again the leader board suggested otherwise.

Tactics Core

Another RPG today - this time it's a demo of a games engine written in Flash MX. Tactics Core looks superb and plays well. Can't wait to see beyond the demo - this promises a lot - although I am truely a bad gamer.

Triglav

Smokymonkeys' JavaScript based RPG that will blow you away. I have enough trouble remembering all my {curly brackets} to get a few if statements and for loops working - well maybe not so much anymore since I've been doing so much JavaScript - but Triglav is truely awsome and very immersive. The only down side is that there is no sound - normally a big stumbling block - but the gameplay more than makes up for this.

Play 20 questions with this AI. Quite spooky the way this works. Guessed "telephone" really quickly but I had it up to 19 questions for "bus" - then it claimed I answered 3 of the questions wrong. Cheeky monkey! [Found at zFilter]

Lightyear Alpha

Fairly standard spaceship shoot-up-em but good fun non the less and the sound effects are top notch. Use cursor keys to control direction [B] to blast and [Space] to select from the collected power-ups. I'd probably rate this slightly higher if i was any good at it ;o)

Save the world from alien invasion in Offender - horizontal shoot-em-up from confound.com. Destroy all the aliens and prevent the abduction of the survivors. Great audio especially the intro music and vocal clips. [Found at Wastrel Division].

Zookeeper

Very addictive flash game from the Japanese Shockwave site. As far as I can make out you need to create rows of 3 or more animals to remove them from the board - the more you remove in one go - or manage to remove by cascade - the more points you get. At the start of ech level it tells you the number of each kind of animal you have to remove. Move the items on the board by clicking on adjacent items you want to swap - and watch out for the flashing bonus sqaures.

Jar Jar Kill

I am a peace loving person but even so any game entitled 'Jar Jar Kill' gets my vote. Simply contol the elevation and power of your plasma canon to aim at Jar Jar and them blow him away. Controls are - A & Z to raise and lower elevation and [TAB] to fire.

Tiny Racer

Racing in miniature with Tiny Formula Derby. Level 1 is pretty easy and 5 laps is a bit of drag. However from level 2 up the other two cars start getting homicidal - trying to boot you off the track in a very unfair manner - on increasingly bendier courses. An entertaining way to further your RSI.
