Winooz really is a very cute
point'n'click adventure. As far as I could tell you have to gather as many points as possible before you wake up and discover it was all a dream, or maybe that's just what happens when you aren't doing very well...anyway my recommendation for this one is to not be too shy about using the tab key, finding some of the items is very tricky without it. Enjoy.
"
Who Killed K.S.Lam?" is a murder mystery that proves that good old HTML can do everything
flash can when it comes to
point'n'click adventures. Except provide sound effects. And animation. And background music. It's still good fun though. And before you mention it I do really know that HTML can actually do all those things, but it's not the same is it? [
thanks Karlee G].
Update: This game isn't as innocent as it looks - you have been warned!
Graphically it's back to basics with the
Smart Stick Adventure, but it's still a nice combo of
point'n'click thinking and arcade timing which is kind of appealing. The music's cool too, well for the first 100 loops anyway [

Just as you're thinking how slow
YHJ Adventure IV is starting out you get hacked to death. And again. And again. This is a fairly blood thirsty
point'n'click adventure.
It's gaming déjà vu with escape the
flooded room. I even had to double check I hadn't posted it before after reading the title. Escape the room? When did I
ever have to do that in a
point'n'click game before? Anyway, deep cynicism aside I do love these things, but really can we have a new script? I quote:
"Hmmm...where am I?"
"I have big headache"
"Hmmm...this is not my bed..."
"I can't remember anything...."
"Ehh...I'm going to open my eyes..."
Arrrrrrrgggggh. Anyway, the big difference in this one is that it's all against the clock as you try to avoid electrocution and drowning. Good luck, even if I think most of you won't find it a challenge by now [thanks ron].
Ps. Sorry if you've mailed in anything over the last week or so and I haven't replied or done anything with it, my mail server has been playing up and I appear to have lost about a week's worth of e-mail. Re-send if you had anything good for me (but you can keep your cheap viagra).
Before I go any further I need to say right up front that I'm putting this into the
very difficult category of
point'n'click games. If you're looking for an easy game look away now.
Ángeles y Demonios (Angels And Demons) seems to have some very cool features - on-line chat with other players, including video and audio if the pop-up I got was anything to go by, a direct link to google which always suggests a wider scope of puzzle that I enjoy, not to mention nice graphics and music,
but it's all in Spanish which makes it very hard to break into. To be honest with you apart from examining all the items I didn't get any further than the screenshot above. Let me know if you fare any better [
thanks Mike L].
I'm rather liking the chilled soundtrack of
Vastare, a more traditional
point'n'click game than I've been posting of late. And by traditional I mean it's in English for a change. Sorry but that's the language that I speak so it makes life easier. Oh Dear. Check out the Brit. I'm apologising for speaking my own language now. I think I better have a
nice cup of tea and sit down [
thanks silmarien].
If you didn't play it from the link in the
comments for Labyrinth the other day, try a visit to the weird
point'n'click world of the
TCB Museum today (aka the 'Things Came Up To My Brain Museum'). It's nice and simple - I've completed it with no help at all - but is a pleasure to explore [
thanks allegra].
The
final episode of the Chauchemars
point'n'click adventures. I've split them out into different posts so that we can have seperate
comments threads - I might be crazy but I thought that might make things easier all round.
In the wacky world of blogging newer stuff comes above older stuff so if you're reading down the page be careful not to play
episode 2 of Cauchemars before
episode 1. As a dedicated
point'n'clicker I'm sure you'll work it out.
Cartoon-esque graphics? This
point'n'click adventure has to be easier than the last. Doesn't it? Well only if your French is better than your Japanese ;o) This is just the
first episode of 3 though so I'm sure you'll get used to it, non? BTW - Don't get too scared or the game ends.
The Labyrinth is a
point'n'click adventure, although I'll be damned if I could work out what the objective is, but it also has a little bit of RPG thrown into the mix. The language, it's Japanese, makes things a little difficult, but the map, of all things, is in English and when you're fighting things you can clearly see you're losing 'lifepoints'. Anyway see what you can make of it. I think I was doing well until I met the dude at the bottom of the ladder in the picture [
thanks Allegra].
