for the code.. a bit better explained..

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

when the 3 peices of paper are together.. reading down the way the are the first 3 letters of colours.. from left to right number them 1 to 7.

the books on the shelf are blue, red, green, violet.
so whatever number coresponds to blue is the first number of the code..etc.etc..

Mine didn't work, too.
Paper is:
1VIO(let)
2RED
3ORA(nge)
4YEL(low)
5GRE(en)
6BLU(e)
7BRO(wn)

Blue, Red Green, Violet becomes: 6251
Which doesn't work

I think t = 30 because x is greater than 3 so i tried 4 and 4^2 is 16 and 480/16 is 30 and i hope that helps in some small way *out of breath*

I died! I worked out where to put the timer, but
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
didnt realise i had to take the wheel back out to move away from that screen and get to the carpet, i took about 10 seconds too long to figure it out.

:(

the reasoning behind the maths..

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

when you watch the dvd, there is a big star thing.. looks kinda like a wheel... x=4, the number of times the wheel turns.

t= time.. i.e. you need 30 seconds of gas to make the ending work..too much and you die.. not enough, and presumably nothing happens.

Nope, I just don't get it.

I'm missing something at the end, I don't get the logic behind anything after getting the timer, & frankly I can't be bothered.

Thanks,
