Eurostar Quest
If you've been moping around the house pondering how empty your life is since the end of the Da Vinci Code Quest, have no fear the Eurostar Quest is here. It's another Da Vinci Code game (sponsored by Eurostar) with plenty of puzzles and a chance to win prizes galore. Also, of course, it means you have a chance to redeem yourself if you didn't manage to get through to the final of the last one and you're still feeling bitter about it [subbed by Fiona & sopdox].

Can anyone who actually got a new puzzle give the rest of us a link? Those of us who got faulty links -- or links with no puzzles -- are feeling left out!

The pyramid puzzle is buggy. I got 2 names in the first side of the pyramid
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
leonardo da vinci and nicolas flamel
, when I went to switch to another side of the pyramid I got the congratulations message that I completed the puzzle.

I've played all the puzzles and took my 3 turns with the cryptex in the end. When I check my status it doesn't say completed level 3. I can click on each of the games, but when they open up, there are pencil scratch marks over their names and I cannot re-open any game I've played. I tried to go back to finish the pyramid puzzle and it wouldn't let me.

Has anyone else finished? Does it say Level 3 completed?

I don't know about anyone else, but even though I received an email notifying me about the next level of the game, I'm unable to play. Every time I try to load the game, it progresses to 43% and then freezes. Does anyone have any advice? I loved playing level 1, and would really like to continue.

I didn't get an invitation, so I just click on the link from this site. When I tried to enter a password, it didn't work so I had to ask for the password.

It worked fine after that.

By the way, I am completely confused on the cryptex for the either names. I've only done one and don't think it's correct.

Figured out the cryptex! You take the clue they give you at the begining of the game. Found out the other name this person is commonly know as and change the letters to this name.

Then you need to look at the other names and write the ones you've changed and blanks for then unknown. One name becomes easier to see. Change the other letters to spell out that name and then the others are really easy to identify. :)

Thanks for all the help, peoples! :D I think on the first puzzle (3rd level) with all the Freemasons, that some of the answers were switched (ie, there were lots of possible answers, but you only got a few there). Unless it's just too late and I'm hallucinating. LOL anyway, got this leg of the journey done, so on with the show ... which is really only a day away, woot!

Oh, and all y'all fast people can lord over me your times, cuz mine SUCKED on the cryptex-number-thingy. I got 11 in 18:44; 10 in 20:00; and 7 in 14:19. Yeah, I'm sure you can beat that. :P

I also have the same thing on mine! I've done all the puzzles, found all the names, etc, and finished the Cryptex, but it doesn't say Completed for level 3... maybe because it's not the 25th?? *shrug* oh well. Nuttin' we can do! oooh, oohh! Maybe it's because my Cryptex times SUCK! LOL but if your times are okay, then I'm fresh outta ideas.

NICKYSMOM..SOUNDS LIKE THERE IS AN ERROR PROBLEM IN THE GAME ITSELF BECAUSE WHEN YOU CLICK ON THE BLUEPRINT WHERE THE LETTERS ARE LOCATED..YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO SEE THE LETTER BEING WRITTEN ON THE ACTUAL BLUEPRINT IN RED.

I had trouble on the slider too. I could almost get the whole picture together, but there were always two pieces that needed to swap positions to finish it. In the end I just kept clicking and clicking pieces till finally it happened. Just keep on trying.

Rosie- check the letters in the top grid. If there are more than one of a certain letter you need to change one of them so eventually all of the letters in the alphabet are present. Good luck!

The slider will become impossible tio solve if you find there are only two pieces in the wrong place. If you totally can't do it (I tried for over 4 hours) there are some links above that will take you to a slider puzzle solver where you just type in the puzzle and it will show you which pieces to move. Roll on tomorrow!

Just done the last cryptex...or at least tried to do so! It sucks, the usual problem, the dials don't go the way that i want them to go and it makes it impossible to solve. What a dissapoitment to bring one of them as the grand puzzle. If anyone has worked out how to use the arrows, so that they go one by one and not jump over a lot of letter, PLEASE help me. Have only got one attempt left!

About the slider puzzle, took me days as well. Basically you you start from the top, arrange all the top three and forget about the others, then you arrangte the colums opposite the missing piece and the last ones should fall in place. As it is random puzzle, 50% are unsolvable!
