Ouverture Facile
Ouverture Facile isn't just another online puzzle game where you have to change the URL to progress to the next level, although you do have do a bit of that, this one also features some nice flash elements which really adds something to the whole experience. Oh, and it's in French, did I not mention that before? Well you might have guessed from the name anyway. "Ouverture Facile" is French for "Easy Opening", which I would think is probably telling us that the game is easy to open, but difficult to close/finish. Bonne chance mes amis! [subbed by Philippe].

Ok well I just got started on this level and I havent figured much out yet...Don't tell me too much about this level yet because I'm just getting started...

So far...

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
...I've found out that 96.swf is the "swf" file for this puzzle just like any other level but if you switch it to 69.swf nothing changes except for the 69 symbol in the corner...But besides that I'm stuck...

Ok I just stumbled upon a huge clue (Or at least I think...)but it needs to be used in some image editing softwares and I'm not good with that...

So if you could take a look at it...

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
"69.png" and "96.png" Look at the bottom of the snake and look for a difference...Very similar to level 64 with the two statues but I didn't know how to do it then either lol.

christian

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

if you change the direction of the alphabet you´ll get
MROWLATEM-Y-METALWORM
and for the clue:
MISTER WHO
and if you type OWL in the answer-box (cause of MROWLatemy...), you´ll get an almost

that´s how far I am

Comment 2905, Wednesday, May 23rd 2007 11:32:41 PM

Flo

:
I suppose you´ve got those letters from the pictures??

Comment 2906, Wednesday, May 23rd 2007 11:34:14 PM

Christian

:
What do you mean if you change the direction of the alphabet?

Comment 2907, Wednesday, May 23rd 2007 11:35:47 PM

Flo

:
Z is the first and A the last letter

Comment 2908, Wednesday, May 23rd 2007 11:36:26 PM

Christian

:
And also what I found interesting is that you can type numbers in the answer box unlike many other levels...

Comment 2911, Wednesday, May 23rd 2007 11:49:54 PM

Christian

I dont know...The google bar is there for a reason so I'm seeing what I can find on it...

Already fount out that Mister Who is a not so famous rapper... (Coincidence I'm sure)
But nothing for metalworm and nothing that can relate to the actual title of the level...

Well just like birds eat snakes...Owls eat worms...Mean anything?

Comment 2912, Wednesday, May 23rd 2007 11:52:22 PM

another thing i found interesting:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
the url says ldo, so i typed in wiki and got something about voltage stabilizer. maybe this takes us a step further to the solution

Tevan

:
Wow... I go away for one day and you're two levels ahead...
I've got some time so I'll start looking for clues.

Comment 2926, Thursday, May 24th 2007 05:52:45 PM

Tevan

:
As for lead-ons, the forum says something about how its possible to read in the dark...

Comment 2927, Thursday, May 24th 2007 05:56:35 PM

Christian

:
Yo Flo how did you get wiki from ldo?

Comment 2928, Thursday, May 24th 2007 10:58:21 PM

Christian

:
Nevermind to my last comment I'm an idiot lol

Comment 2929, Thursday, May 24th 2007 10:59:11 PM

Christian

:
ok so info so far...

LDO stands for Linear Drop Out Regulator which has to do with voltage resistors circuits etc.

But that's all I got.
And about the domino.swf, that is also the name of the clue so it can't be too important.

Comment 2930, Thursday, May 24th 2007 11:03:49 PM

Christian

:
As for the title/clue clue...I've tried everything I could that could be useful for reading in the dark and got nothing...

-Flashlight
-light
-bulb
-lamp

Nothing...lol

Comment 2931, Thursday, May 24th 2007 11:06:13 PM

Tevan

:
Have you guys tried typing in an answer? it leads to "/ido/<youranswer>/the71
I know that could just be the next level, but it might help somewhat...

Comment 2932, Friday, May 25th 2007 04:06:57 PM

Tevan

:
voltage stabilizer + domino
Is there perhaps a comparison between both? both can be "switched" to initiate reactions... but other than that...

Comment 2933, Tuesday, May 29th 2007 05:42:43 PM

Flo

:
I just found out that "domino" is the french word for those parts in the picture!!

Comment 2934, Wednesday, May 30th 2007 02:07:00 PM

Tevan

:
Yay! That helps us none....
but what does it translate to in English?

Comment 2935, Wednesday, May 30th 2007 04:07:55 PM

Tevan

:
You guys owe me one...
the answer is

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

Comment 2936, Wednesday, May 30th 2007 07:04:07 PM

Comment 2937, Wednesday, May 30th 2007 07:08:10 PM

Christian

:

And am I the only one stuck on 71?

Comment 2938, Thursday, May 31st 2007 12:15:49 AM

Flo

:
I´m stuck on 71 too.
I´ve no idea how to decrypt this stuff, tried it with my cell-phone but I got nothing. Maybe it´s because the T9 on my phone isn´t good in english..

Comment 2939, Thursday, May 31st 2007 12:39:47 PM

Tevan

:
How I got it?
Image over-lays, more cryptology, and a whole lot of German =P
but is the code T9? Because that could help...

Comment 2940, Thursday, May 31st 2007 04:02:27 PM

Tevan

:
Wait, I just got it... I have a T9 phone at home, i'll check it out there and see if it leads to anything

Comment 2941, Thursday, May 31st 2007 05:42:40 PM

Christian

:
Already tried T9...And got nothing
I have absolutely no clue what to do haha.

No google bar either...That doesnt help.

Comment 2942, Friday, June 1st 2007 12:51:42 AM

Christian

:
Ok so clues we got right now...

Picture of a cell phone meens it obviously has something to do with a phone...
The word WIN is written 5 different times in the message so it is obviously important.

But other then that...we got nothing
No clue...
No source code errors...
No forum help...
No google bar...
No hidden text...

Just something to decrypt

Comment 2943, Friday, June 1st 2007 12:55:12 AM

What I find odd is that when I sometimes try to click on the clue...A pop up comes up...
There's two things I find odd about this...

1. I have never seen this before on another level and it only comes up every now and then...

2. It's in the same format as every other web page on the ouverture facile website...

Could it be part of the clue? Or have I just missed this all along...?

I'm afraid to click on it lol
