The Blue Chamber
If you haven't pirated the password paid the yen to play it yet I highly recommend playing the blue chamber, another room escaping installment from the makers of the crimson room and the viridian room, which is now out to play (ethically) for free.

Hang On ;o) I'm just replaying to try and remember the answers to your questions - it's ages since I played this one.

I've got it now. You're doing exactly the right thing but you've missed a step. Warning - this hint completes the game (it's a short one)...

The phrase that you first write on paper (HELP ME) - type that into the phone using standard letter to number mappings (look at your cell phone if you are stuck) using the * key as the space. You'll hear a voice say 'OK'. At that point do what you did before sending the money up the tube, you'll get something very useful in return.

Comment 6, Friday, September 3rd 2004 05:32:00 AM

:
Mari: Yup! The money is behind the picture, you have to click it a bit to get to come free from the wall.

Comment 10, Friday, September 3rd 2004 11:36:00 AM

Graeme

:
Yup the number is 4357*63, but i have an idea that it doesn't work until you've completed some of the other tasks you need to do first.

I need some help, anyone. I've clicked on the picture about fifty times, but it just dances, I don't get anything out of it. Besides the performance of the dancer...

Comment 18, Friday, September 3rd 2004 08:02:00 PM

Graeme

:
Vixen: you kind of have to wiggle the picture off the wall - it actually falls down and you see the money pinned there when you are successful.

Bob: yup this is very quick and simple in comparison.

Anna: I have no idea, but thanks for the heads up. I'm sure it will come in useful soon with something.

is there anything i need to do before i get the money?

Comment 20, Friday, September 3rd 2004 10:58:00 PM

Graeme

:
SAS: You can actually get the money at the begining of the game. There are things you have to do before you <em>use</em> the money.

Comment 21, Friday, September 3rd 2004 11:07:00 PM

SAS

:
i've clicked one the picture for 15 min it won't drop

Comment 22, Friday, September 3rd 2004 11:00:00 PM

Graeme

:
As with all point'n'click games you'll just have to keep trying - it will fall off I promise you.

the yellow chamber is the address given on the bit of paper in the crimson room, it's the code to the safe. (you have to restart the the game for the code to work, it *knows* if you visit the yellow chamber)

Comment 24, Saturday, September 4th 2004 12:08:00 AM

Graeme

:
That makes sense - the safe code used to be 1994 but I gathered that it had changed.

Comment 27, Saturday, September 4th 2004 03:13:00 AM

Allegra,WICKEDFANONE

:
never mind i was at the wrong angle looking at it, i got it now. does anyone else seem to think that this is much easier than the viridian room?? (Crimson not being too hard at all...did it in about 15 minutes with little to no help)

Comment 28, Saturday, September 4th 2004 03:18:00 AM

Allegra,WICKEDFANONE

:
i tried sending the money both before and after i dialed on the phone and i still get that beeping tone and no "OK" like Graeme said...and the money keeps returning. It shouldn't be this hard! HELP! someone PLEASE tell me what i am doing wrong!!!

Comment 29, Saturday, September 4th 2004 03:22:00 AM

Allegra,WICKEDFANONE

:
NEVER MIND i think all of the bunches of posts people have left here no one mentioned a key step::

:::HINT WARNING:::
you have to send the help me paper and get it back before you can dial the phone and THEN send the money...

i don't THINK anyone said that, anyways. if not let me know. but w/e.

Comment 30, Saturday, September 4th 2004 03:30:00 AM

Graeme

:
Yup - this one's much simpler than the other 2 as long as you get it all done in the right order. If you don't it can turn into a bit of a head scratcher.

Comment 31, Saturday, September 4th 2004 07:15:00 AM

SAS

:
is the frame suppose to fall off?

Comment 32, Saturday, September 4th 2004 04:05:00 PM

:
Yes - the frame falls off.

Way easier then the others, not half so much fun, but still worth a go. The only real challenge was the phone number.

Comment 40, Tuesday, September 7th 2004 08:01:00 PM

I finally did it!!! I beat the blue chamber :D

Comment 42, Tuesday, September 7th 2004 08:45:00 PM

Graeme

:
Hmmm...the frame seems to be causing major issues. I kind of imagined I was wriggling the picture of an awkward hook, so I clicked on different corners alternately and persistently - that seemed to do the trick.

Okay, how does one actually GET to play the game? The only thing I was able to do was fool around with the phone and phone stand. I couldn't move around the room!

Anyone have a DL'd copy they care to share? My email is listed! Puh-leeeeze :)

Comment 44, Sunday, September 12th 2004 10:09:00 AM

:
the yellow chamber numbers are the code for the safe in the crimson room--there is a pirated version out there sooooo 1994 dosen' work anymore,

Comment 47, Wednesday, September 15th 2004 01:06:00 AM

Graeme

:
If you have a downloaded copy of the original, 1994 still works ;o) Otherwise visit the yellow chamber for the crimson room code.

I beat blue chamber in freakin 10 minutes. He lola, it took you about two hours to beat it? Pah!!!!!!!!!!

Comment 49, Thursday, September 16th 2004 06:56:00 PM

:
Crimson room was a little hard but not a super challenge. Viridian room, on the other hand, was very hard and challenging. I really liked Viridian room. Most people say they beat Viridian room quick because they came to these forums and found out how to beat but I did it without any help! I hate people who cheat!!! ... excuse me for a sec, i need to breathe... wheee whoo... Anyway if anyone needs to now how to beat any of the rooms, post it here so I can answer you. I will check it at least once every night. So just begin with, "Hey steve, I need help with (name the room). I'm stuck on..." then just name what your stuck on. Thank you, come again!
