Le Bureau d'Anode & Cathode
Soon there won't be on-line games which don't involve escaping a room (okay, an office in this case) with lots of point'n'clicking. I'm running out of ways to describe these things, but I'm still loving them. Nice graphics, shame about the lack of audio, in Le Bureau. By the way, I'm escapee #1882 apparently. What's your number? [ta Incog Neato].

Well i dont know if i am far or not, but so far i have used the 2 cables, ive used the keys, i have a letter and a love letter and i have seen the strange writings on the books. I also have a weighting book, which i dont know what is for. I checked the canvas and got a ruby cube. Though i cant find anything else! I dont know what to do with the computer...i already used the CD. Any tips?

:
There are 2 CDs - 1 for the projector and one for the computer. You also need to use the cables with the computer.

:
Read the writings, remember them, click on the weighting book and you'll see what to do.

So far I have 3 cubes, but where is the 4th?

how do I use the cables???

Comment 4, Thursday, June 24th 2004 10:18:00 AM

Graeme

:
Silent-Runner: Have you got the one from using the computer, moving the shelves, behind the picture, and behind the projector screen?

Crumpet: The cables plug into the box next to the computer - it has 2 rectangular ports where they fit in.

i seem to have done everything else so far except to get the fourth cube. where/how do i get the 2nd cd for the computer.

Comment 6, Thursday, June 24th 2004 05:01:00 PM

Graeme

:
Davian: It's actually frustratingly simple when you find out - look at the round pruple table with the yellow chair next to it - look around the edge of that and you can see the edge of the CD-ROM - it's yellow - click it to get it.

Okay. Been playing this stuipid game for like an hour now. Only took me about 15 minutes (not really even that long) to find everthing. EXCEPT the fourth cube-thing. How in the sam-hell do you get the object behind the damned projector??? It's driving me nucking futs!

Comment 9, Thursday, June 24th 2004 09:39:00 PM

Graeme

:
If you have the crank handle thing use that on the yellow box in the bottom right as you look at the screen.

Comment 10, Thursday, June 24th 2004 10:58:00 PM

Graeme

:
PS. the crank handle is in the arm of one of the red chairs if you don't have it yet.

Graeme

:
Jason: The other CD is in one of the drawers in the computer desk. Get the key for this from under the corner of the rug nearest the door (try all the corners).

How do you move the shelves? The ones with the all the books on them, are those the ones you're supposed to move?

Comment 14, Friday, June 25th 2004 02:50:00 AM

Graeme

:
Littlehulk: You move the shelves by clicking books. You can pick up one of the books on the top shelf by clicking on it, it appears in your inventory as 'a weighting book'. Within this you need to enter four numbers which you must collect from four other books. Basically click any book you see until you have four numbers in hand, then click on the weighting book in your inventory and enter the numbers.

Buji: In the close up view of the computer see the extra device to the left with two black rectangles on the front - they're the ports for the cables.

You cannot get down the elevator. You need to collect the 4 blocks and place them in the rectangular hole in the floor.
