Well, a new Shanty game and a new Tomatea game the same day...I think I'll save this for tomorrow. Looks good enough though. If somewhat simpler than other Tomatea games. Graphically.

First I was all over myself learning that TomaTea has, as many of us asked, finally introducerd the Save and Load features. Yay!

So, when shockwave routinely crashed on the game (does that a lot of times with TopmaTea games), I said here we come, drumroll please... aaaand LOAD!

Except it never loaded anything, just gave me a blank grey frame where the game should be...

Guys, would any of you kindly check if the save/load feature works for you?

Thx.

Hi, Bio,
load feature works for me (saved and loaded the game two times). Hope it will work to you, too :)

Wow. Some of those clues were a little too subtle for me. Needed the walkthrough twice. Perhaps if I'd been patient and used the new save feature. =)

Great game! I really enjoyed that! Just the last drawer puzzle that stumped me, had to look at a walkthrough for that, I was totally going the wrong way about it it turns out.

1st CLUE:

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
It's nothing to do with letters on a phone keypad

2nd CLUE:

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
look very carefully at the number grid on the wall and where the numbers 1,9,3,6 are positioned

3rd CLUO:

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
concentrate on the grid lines surrounding the numbers

I never did leave the game so I didn't need to use the load feature... but I did save a couple of times with no apparent problem...

Two things frustrated:

The last being that, as with, it seems, more than a few others, that last puzzle was WAY too abstract. Gotta hate on that, sorry.

And the first being that (and I won't even "spoiler" this because others need to see it) the piano puzzle fails because you _can play_ the piano... plinking out the notes (which themselves are indistinctly placed on that staff, but only just enough to keep you trying, and trying again...). Not a good red herring at all in my opinion.

So this one is a definite downturn game-wise for tomatea; despite the new amenities...

Was really looking forward to a new game, but this wasn't it. I am definitely out of practice 'cos I needed help on this one!

Agree to most things already stated. Last puzzle was a disgrace for an otherwise pretty decent game. Quite far from the usual Tomatea standard though.

Save and load feature worked like a clock for me.

I'm using Firefox on a Mac Pro... I can't remember the last time I got a Tomatea game to load. Of course the 30 second advertising video loads and plays fine every time..

@Steelstrings I just had to edit my hosts database on my mac. Tomatea has an ad that covers the top right corner of the game window for the last few months. There are sites online that have huge lists you can append to your hosts database that refer the links back to your computer, so no ad loads.

It's my only option until I'm able to upgrade my computer so I can use the latest browsers.

Usual Tomatea quality until that stupid last drawer code - would never have got it on my own in a million years. Thanks for the hints Dp!

Not the better Tomatea. The last puzzle is grotesque.
