SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
I made a key out of the corkscrew
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

Comment 9, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 04:33:19 PM

Superhappyjen

:
I don't have the

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
ascii table, or the corkscrew

But
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
with the green card I

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
put the green card in the thing by the door and got a picture of a foot from the painting

And with the
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
lighter

I
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Lit the stove in the kitchen

ECatalyst

:
Jen I'm with you, but also used the

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

Wrench to turn on the tub.

What to do with this things is still a mystery!

Comment 11, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 06:48:52 PM

Superhappyjen

:
Ah yes, I did that too. Now what?

Comment 12, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 06:51:52 PM

ECatalyst

:
Ok, I found the corkscrew in the

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
kitchen

Haven't figured out how to make a key though.

Comment 13, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 06:53:22 PM

Superhappyjen

:
You can

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
heat the corkscrew with the stove

then

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
bend it with pliers and cool it in the water

Not sure if it's a key now though

Comment 14, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 06:56:26 PM

Superhappyjen

:
It is a key. But the door has two keyholes so back to square one.

Comment 15, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 06:57:46 PM

Superhappyjen

:
Found the ascii numbers

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
on the pool table

I guess I'm going to google ascii

Comment 16, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:00:00 PM

ECatalyst

:
Jen,

I understand the words you're saying, but nothing like what you described seems to be happening!

I

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
drag the corkscrew to the fire

but nothing notable happens. Still, I then

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
drag it to the water, observing no change, then drag it to the pliers

and still nothing! Either I must be stupid, or the game has a bug...

Comment 17, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:01:37 PM

Grace

:
Where's the lighter?

Comment 18, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:02:48 PM

ECatalyst

:
Ok, as I thought, I'm just stupid. Right actions, wrong sequence!

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Fire, pliers, then water

Duh.

Comment 19, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:03:52 PM

Superhappyjen

:
When I put the corkscrew
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
in the fire it turned red, then pliers (again you can see it's bent differently), then water (back to normal colour), then into the door.
If there are more steps than that I can't remember.

I don't remember where the lighter is sorry!

Comment 20, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:06:19 PM

Superhappyjen

:
I used to be smart, but now I'm stupid. This Ascii table looks like just a bunch of numbers to me.

Comment 21, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:07:26 PM

ECatalyst

:
Anyone getting anywhere? I'm beginning to lose interest.

Comment 22, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:15:20 PM

Grace

:
I think I've looked everywhere and can't find the lighter....Hint please?

Comment 23, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:28:35 PM

ECatalyst

:
I couldn't swear where the lighter is, but I'm thinking maybe

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
in the living room

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
on the bottom shelf of the coffee table?

Like I said, I could be wrong, don't really remember!

Comment 24, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:33:49 PM

Grace

:
Aha! Thank you Ecat!

Comment 25, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:36:52 PM

ECatalyst

:
Glad to have helped get you caught up to being stuck! I still have no idea what to do for the !@$(*&@! passwords!!!!

Comment 26, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:40:01 PM

Superhappyjen

:
I'm back...I assume the key to all the codes is in this stupid ascii thing

Comment 27, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:40:38 PM

Grace

:
Yes and stuck I am, what could be next. Able to grab at painting in living room, appear to need another key for door and there are 2 places for pass codes and the computer code . The strange picture in the pool room makes no sense to me.

Comment 28, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:43:22 PM

ECatalyst

:
I hear you, Grace. Also, the 2 ripped pages with God knows what on them (looks like a foot and maybe fire?), and the CD have me confused, too. Keep looking at the repeating color coding on ASCII, the pool room painting, and the CD, but getting no where!

Comment 29, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:46:31 PM

Grace

:
The torn papers look like they may fit together, if so there is one more piece some where.

Comment 30, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:48:48 PM

Grace

:
opps shoulda been a spoiler

Comment 31, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:49:49 PM

ECatalyst

:
I'm not feeling very green... That tub has been running for over an hour now. What a waste of water!

Comment 32, Tuesday, January 5th 2010 07:57:22 PM

Nick

:
I cracked the code!!

Firstly:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
group all the characters by colour - you should have:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
007B, 006A, 007A, 003F, 007D

then

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
convert them to their text characters (i used google).

this just makes the computer password (it worked on that, i haven't tried it on others). If you're totally stuck it is:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
{jz?}

Comment 39, Wednesday, January 6th 2010 11:57:52 AM

Mary

Comment 40, Wednesday, January 6th 2010 11:59:36 AM

Mel

Comment 41, Wednesday, January 6th 2010 11:59:45 AM

Mel

:
that's the painting next to the exit door, what about the other one in the living room

Comment 42, Wednesday, January 6th 2010 12:01:13 PM

Mary

:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

MGBO

Comment 43, Wednesday, January 6th 2010 12:01:43 PM

Mary

:
that should give you a key

Comment 44, Wednesday, January 6th 2010 12:03:18 PM

Mel

:
Thanks Mary, now i can finally go to bed. i would never have got that, i don't know how you figured those codes out, would've liked to know how though.

Comment 45, Wednesday, January 6th 2010 12:04:23 PM
