:) Now that I've got the record player plugged in, however, I can't seem to figure out what to do with it. I'm assuming that there must be some connection with

the records that only have static on them.

Yeah, I thought maybe they might have to be cleaned or something, but I haven't found anything that does that.

I am assuming that those are the notes for the sheet music we have to write ourselves.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Use the piano and the book of music theory to help you figure out what they are.

scissors:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
make sure you sharpen them often by vigorously moving them back and forth over the gray bar in your items, not just holding them over it (even though it makes noise). it will save a lot of frustration.

You can open the piano by

Moving the quill on the desk from the left inkpot to the right one and taking the left one, dragging the inkpot to the lower right hand corner of the painting by the piano, setting the mirror in the birdcage to the spot that is one angle from the furthest right angle, turning out the lights, and viewing the picture by the piano with the lights off. Use the date as the code to the piano.

Comment 41, Friday, March 21st 2008 03:35:44 PM

M1ssRJ

:) No worries. There are actually several different safes in the game. The one I am referring to is

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
behind the portait in the frame with the potted plant. This painting also changes with every game.

Lina

:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
how do you clean the painting? i rubbed the rug on it but it just gives me a dust cloud and a sneeze

Comment 48, Friday, March 21st 2008 03:44:47 PM

M1ssRJ

:
This is another complicated procedure. :) These are major spoilers, so if you don't want to know the entire process, I suggest you don't read them yet. :P First,

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
turn the lights off and go right to the frame with the dusty picture in it. Look at the ground for the glowing area. Turn the lights back on. Go back to the are and use your scissors on it. Take the card from underneath it. Now, make sure your scissors are sharp by running them accross the whetstone and cut the carpet again.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Now you should have a square of carpet. Go to the birdcage and drag the carpet square to the water bowl. Now you can go back to the painting and drag the cloth across it several times to clean it.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Sharpen your scissors yet again (this may take a few tries) and cut the lower left hand corner of the picture. You will find an area to type a password in.

Need a hint?:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Try the last name of the composer in the painting. Like I said, it changes every game.

Comment 49, Friday, March 21st 2008 03:46:24 PM

Lina

:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
and im sure the code from the piano gets you into the safe *sigh* why wont if give me the code! lol
