:Ok. Power of posting didn't work... is there some special knack to getting your fishing rod to work? I've tried every bit of water I can see and no fish. I have however made the cat wiggle it's tail *joy*, and broken a rock to find a secret cave.

If you have the pick axe, go back to the beginning and go in the right hand cave on the beach, then use the pick axe on the back wall

You'll need to lower the raised wooden bridge, then cross it, to get the hook (if I remember rightly).
