Mule Of Surrentum is the latest episode in the BBC's ongoing Roman Mysteries Series of point'n'click games. Remember it's an eductaional series for kids, so don't expect the hardest puzzles ever, but the graphics and music are all rather nice [subbed by Liekster, Homono, Sanara & vmklover].

The Orb of Augustus is not working right. I have everything I need and cannot move on.

i found the golden orb by using turpentine and a cloth, but somehow I've managed to screw it up. I can't seem to give my evidence to the authorities and I've been randomly clicking all over the place. I'm going nuts!

You need to get the green gem from behind the statue on the left and put it into the square thing to the left of that statue to reveal a safe containing a cloth to clean the orb and evidence which proves the thief.
