Thanks ! I got to "someone else's house" but I seemed to get stuck there - there was some test text in the text box and the "back" arrow didn't work. Not sure if it was some kind of test screen. Have to start again.

That was Joeseppi's house. It actually represents the end point in this game (as you will see when you finish this game) and perhaps the starting point of the next episode. When you are in a house there is a button to the lower right of the screen that says 'Leave' or 'Go back' Use that to exit houses.

Well, I bought my bag and collected my apples and mushrooms and sold them at the shop. Then I went and played that little game and spent all my rubbles! I've found one more mushroom since. I suspect I had to sell all my fruit and my knapsack and buy the magnifying glass but now I've gone and blown my budget! Am I stuck - do I have to start again - or are there more apples around for me to find?

you should have viewed 6 letter=number combos. Only one is hidden from view. It's under the rug in the bedroom. If you have seen them all and still getting that message, try going back to the stain and looking at it again with the mag. The code for the puzzle is letters, not numbers. The numbers in the stain is your clue.

Well, I have viewed four of the six letter clues - F, A, B and T. But I can't find the other two anywhere. My monitor is rather dark and I've probably missed them. Can anyone give me a clue as to which screens to look at for the other two? I need 5 and 7.

Walkthrough for Sneaky Mansion

1. Get yellow mushroom (if you have the backpack, if not go buy one). Note B=0 above door.
2. Go right. get key under pot. Note E=7
3. Use key to unlock door. Go in. Go right.
4. Get apple and screwdriver from lower right cupboard.
5. Go right. Note T=4 on ceiling. If you have the mag glass from the store you can look at stain. If not, go buy it.
6. Back to kitchen. Go up. Note F=8 under rug. Go up.
7. Use screwdriver to open drawer in bathroom, get cash. Note A=2 on ceiling.
8. Back to living room. Use screwdriver to lift lid form floor. Note L=5
9. Do blue puzzle by making a single line.
10. The numbers from the stain correspond to the letters to enter for passcode. The passcode is 'left'

Hmm, I have done all the above but I just get "clues have not been found". Also, I had found the screwdriver and opened the drawer in the bathroom, but it just says "the drawer is empty". Not sure what to do now.

also....the drawer in the bathroom of the sneaky mansion wasn't empty. It have 25 rubbles in it that automatically went into your rubble count at the bottom.
