Lottery Escape
Lottery Escape is your regular escape the room point'n'click game, although reading through the comments on Newgrounds it sounds like the game title might be very apt, with some of tasks being more of a lottery than intended... Good luck [subbed by f00].

Anyone notice there are too many lines in the music? I must be tired - I spent five minutes staring at it thinking it doesn't look right.

For the piano

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Numbering the keys from left to right, 1-13, the first white key being 1, the first black key being 2 and so on, the following sequence will do the trick on the piano.

1, 6, 7, 1, 12, 10, 7, 6, 6, 6, 1, 1, 6, 4, 3, 1, 1, 10, 5, 3, 1, 7, 8, 8, 8, 1

thx to ThemePark on Nordinho Forum for this one

For the part with the slot machine,

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
I'd recommend hitting each of the sections in the same rythm. When you find your rythm, you can match any of them. Good luck getting the right combo. :)

And for which one you are looking for:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Three keys, and then submit. :)

WALKTHROUGH

</Take two right turns so you are facing the desk with the 1059 over it. Pick up the HAMMER and BOTTLE. Open the second drawer and pick up the SPOOL OF THREAD.

Take one left so you are facing the piano. There is a ship in a bottle on the wall above the piano. Use the hammer to smash it. A NOTE will be added to your inventory.

Now click on the center of the piano's keys. An octave set will appear for your interaction. Check the note and know that you must play the keys which correspond to the music on the "Little Miss Sunshine" sheet.

For those that don't know how to read music, or even if you do, in this case, you may need help and i'll do my best to explain why:

Treble clef sheets have measures, or segments, and only 5 lines and 4 spaces, and this author has somehow tried to pass off a music sheet with 5 spaces and 6 lines. Also, an octave goes from notes C to C. That is, C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C. The notes with symbols next to them indicate a half step higher or lower, which for the most part, is where the black keys come in. The first line from the bottom starts at E, with G, B, D, F going up. The spaces are F, A, C, E going up. The first note, with one line through it? That indicates it's sitting on the next line under the E, which doesn't show on a music sheet. It is two steps below E, so it is C.

From what I gather, with some of the notes, because of the lines, they are supposed to be a line or space lower than where they appear, i.e., an E is actually a C... the lines being closer to one another on the sheet kinda help with that.

C, F, F#(sharp), C, B, A, F#, F, F, F, C, C, F, E(flat), D, C, C, A, E(natural), D, C, F#, G, G, G, C.

So your sequence of keys to press from 1-13, left to right, are:

1, 6, 7, 13, 12, 10, 7, 6, 6, 6, 13, 1, 6, 4, 3, 13, 13, 10, 5, 3, 1, 7, 8, 8, 8, 13.

You will get a COIN. Now select the thread in your inventory and drag it over to the coin to attach them together. Now with the thread attached to the coin, you can apparently re-insert it into the slot machine, as you will perhaps need to use it ALOT.

So go to the slots and insert the coin. You must hit STOP under each square in order to have a picture selected. Hit shuffle to begin the process again. In order to reap the prize, you must have three screens with the gold key and brown background. No other matches have granted me anything special : ( Try to time your button pressing or switch between squares when you stop.

When you have the trio, you get a SET of KEYS... which sucks, cuz they won't open the drawer. But they will get you out of the room. Yay.

Apart from giving me more siezures than the olympic logo, why is the shuffle button smaller than the hold button ?, this was to complicated with the number of music keys.

And for those that always complain about the bad endings, why not suggest how the ending should have been and help the developers.

This is the same guy who created the unfathomable 'just escape' from a few days ago....... puzzles NEED to hard, something you have to work at, but the completely random chance of the machine and the dodgy music stave made this too awkward.

What a sack of cack this game is... There should be some skill involved in games, but unless i am missing something, the slot machine was based on pure chance. Gave up after 10 mins of random clicking to get the 3 keys.

I found looking at the lights? on the actual machine helped. The lights move from left to right in a wave pattern (a rhythm) . Wait until the lights start going back off on the very left side then click.

OMG.... who is this person creating these games?!... Ok, I could see the humour in the previous game (where you had to "play it all" to end the game). But in this one.... maybe I just don't get it..? And I also don't really like the use of the swastika-symbol, even though in hinduism/buddhism it has a totally different meaning than that of the 2nd WW... I think it could be/is really offensive to many people... I really don't find it funny, and if you read the comments on the previous game, I think you could conclude that there are quite a lot of people with me on this...

As Newgrounds rating system would put it, "Blam this piece of crap!" It's 12:30 a.m. and I just spent 15 minutes trying to complete this--first painfully simple (I read music), then an insanely difficult random game. How did this manage to get a full 5% rating??
