Submachine
Some people just play the point'n'click games I post here, some people are nice enough to leave a comment or two to help others, and then again some people, like murtaugh , go that extra mile and write a game of their own, and post that. Most commendable. Submachine has some eerie music, cracking sound effects, and I haven't been able to work out any of the puzzles yet - which means it gets a big thumbs-up from me. Leave your impressions in the comments, I'm sure murtaugh will appreciate any feedback you have.

well, this is strange, because that game loads quite normally for me. :/

maybe that's because you guys are on a different continent.
and btw - as I heard, the game is quite easy, so I'm working on the sequel which will be more difficult, let us hope.

til then - have fun with this one. If it loads at all. :(

mur
(can you try loading different games from that site and see if the "loading problem" concerns only submachine, or all of the games?

i dunno if this is you guys' "long load time" issue, but i couldnt get it to load in Firefox - had to use IE. maybe that will help?

i really liked the game, not insanely difficult, the puzzles were well planned out and it didn't rely on things being too small to find or any of that obnoxious stuff.

What do you do with the spoon?
Help Please!!

Comment 23, Monday, September 26th 2005 09:42:00 PM

:
The spoon is made of metal and conducts electricity, short anything out lately?

Comment 24, Monday, September 26th 2005 09:43:00 PM

Murtaugh

:
remember - there is no spoon.

ehm, that was not a tip or a hint, just trying to be funny.

thanks for the feedback, that will probabbly result in finishing the sequel earlier. :D

Excellent puzzle - thanks Murtaugh.

I really enjoyed playing it... The puzzles were tricky enough but not so difficult that I had to go looking for help!

I had no problems with loading or playing using IE with XP.

Murtaugh, without trying to give you a big head, I'm gonna have to say this game was excellent. It wasnt too ridiculously easy nor ridiculously difficult and I really love the graphics - nice and simple and easy to see and play. Like someone said above, the places you had to click on were not minute and the best thing of all was that...it was in english!lol. I liked ending up in the rain forest too.

For your sequel please keep the graphics the same, the music helped too...(quite tranquil more than scary...ok maybe Im weird). Anyway, if you want to make the game a little harder the cursor should remain as an arrow and not turn into a hand on the things you can click on. I dont know much about the making of a point and click game, I just know you point, click, and occassionally drag...so if my suggestion is silly, sorry!

P.S. Thanks for sending me the link Graeme.
