hehe... that's funny to me... slipknot... when it's really linkin park... pretty much opposites... as far as still being in the same or at least similar genres depending on how specific you wanna be... i like both of them equally... but there isn't much about music i don't like... especially since my two favorite bands... or groups.. or whatever.. are likely Rammstein and t.A.T.u, i know what your thinking about t.A.T.u, but the truth is they are actually pretty talented at singing... and i look forward to them now that they are coming out again as not lesbians... again sorry if i offended anyone or anything...

Ok Ok Ok people - I don't know my Slipknot, from my Linkin Park, from my Offspring, from my ar*e, from my elbow. Sorry. You know I'm sure I mentioned somewhere in the original post that I knew nothing about rock....*checks*....yup, I was fairly clear that I was clueless on this one. Enough already.

yes yes, then the smartest thing to say would have been "with a hard rock song" instead of " i think its slipknot.".. that way you dont make any assumtions. because you know what happens when you assume....

Technically, it's by Jay Gordon, but it's in the Linkin Park album, Reanimation. They had a bunch of other people come together and had them do remixes of some of their greatest songs. This specific song is entitled Pts.Of.Athrty, and is a remake of the song, Points of Authority, on their Hybrid Theory album.
