The House
Another day, another point'n'click game. And you thought Monday was going to be boring? Anode Et Cathode the same people who brought you Le Bureau now bring you The House (La Maison?). This one looks harder than Le Bureau, and I haven't got very far with it in the 5 minutes I had to tinker with it, hopefully I'll complete it tonight after work, by which time I'm sure a whole walkthru will have been posted in the comments for this post (go on guys'n'gals).

Update: Due to a server outage at work I actually got this one completed in the morning, and thanks to all the comments posted now there's probably a complete walkthru if you want to trawl thru for help.

things i have, an electronic chip, a ripped bit of paper, a recipe, a calling card, a list and a letter. i have used a net, 2 keys and a dvd.

i refuse to give up.

i've tried every 4 digit number i can see on the electric code thing, and even the electronic chip. this may take some time.

Some folks have already been discussing The House over on the original <a href=/article.asp?p=884">Le Bureau</a> post. Here's a quick run down of the comments so far which may be of some help:

Can someone tell me where there is a walkthrough for "the house" game. I started it and I can't get the stupid code for the door

I can't find the code either..did you find the ring that *I guess* would go into the box?

I'm guessing the ring is in the room that the code opens. Becuse can not find it.

Use the clues from the glasses to find the code for the door. Add up all numbers and make it a four-digit code. I'm escapee #112/3, one of them. Can anyone help me with the taxi code?

Thx for the tip :) Can't help you with the taxi code, I hate those kind of clues :/

What do I do with the bracelet?

thanks for the tip (the door with the code) ....all i could find inside though was a pair of glasses...

oh and in the locked door with the code, there's a knob on the desk you have to play with until it breaks so you can get the electronic ship. there's also one in the bathroom in the shower drain.

Comment 9, Monday, September 6th 2004 10:10:00 AM

Graeme

:
Thanx for the tip on the taxi number - the door code can be calulated from adding up the numbers on the 4 glasses in the kitchen and putting a zero at the front (there are 12 star signs).

what must i do with the lamp on the bedroom where the fly is?

Comment 11, Monday, September 6th 2004 10:14:00 AM

Gen

:
door code: (numbers taken in the kitchen) 21 + 57 + 00068 + # of astrological signs = a four digit number to open the door.

Thanx: Got the other key and I'm trying to swat that fly now.

Comment 17, Monday, September 6th 2004 10:25:00 AM

Graeme

:
Right. I now have 3 electronic chips and I seem to be able to swap them in out of the space on the sunglasses. This seems to be important but I have no idea how. I assume there's something I'm meant to look at while wearing them. Any ideas?

Comment 18, Monday, September 6th 2004 10:32:00 AM

Mr. Basa

:
Click on the chip once it is in the glasses. (it's like an on button)

Comment 19, Monday, September 6th 2004 10:34:00 AM

Graeme

:
Hold It: Just done something very funky with the sunglasses. I think I'm on to something here.

Comment 20, Monday, September 6th 2004 10:33:00 AM

Graeme

:
Hmmmm...thought I'd finished it for a sec there. I now have a 'strange key' which I thought would let me out, but it doesn't. I don't seem to have anything else locked to use it on. Any ideas while I hunt around more?

WHAT A NIGHT EH! XDDDDD

Comment 23, Monday, September 6th 2004 10:44:00 AM

Gonzo

:
Use 'strange key' on the window.

Comment 24, Monday, September 6th 2004 10:46:00 AM

Graeme

:
But how do you use the strange key? I don't seem to be having much luck with it.

Comment 25, Monday, September 6th 2004 10:48:00 AM

Graeme

:
Ah - I'd tried the strange key on the window before but the game kind of errored and the mouse pointer hid itself, so I was rerlucant to try again. After some frantic clicking around I got the mouse pointer back though and the key worked on the window. I'm now out - escapee 371 if I read that text correctly.

I'm now trying to solve the bonus taxi level which I assume you unlock by calling the cab in the regular game.

Comment 28, Monday, September 6th 2004 11:05:00 AM

One key is in the sofa, the other in the pool - you'll need the net (click a lot in both cases).

Comment 29, Monday, September 6th 2004 11:06:00 AM

Sassy

:
can anyone tell me how to get into the bedroom ( i assume that's the one left that's locked)
someone said use the net but where should i use it. i tried it in the pool and found nothing

Comment 30, Monday, September 6th 2004 10:32:00 AM

Graeme

:
Sweetcorn - have you got all 3 computer chips? I think you need to use them all before you can get all the jewellery.

Comment 31, Monday, September 6th 2004 11:07:00 AM

:
Cheers for the key clue :-)

Comment 40, Monday, September 6th 2004 11:20:00 AM

Graeme

:
Petra: That was the right code - thanks. I on'y had a couple of digits wrong.

Comment 41, Monday, September 6th 2004 11:21:00 AM

Graeme

:
Sweetcorn: The box the mouse ran to isn't in exactly the same position as in the 'vision'. Try being persistant with your clicks on the stinky food in the kitchen.

Sassy: I'm not sure if you have to swat the fly or not. I was busy trying to do that when I realised I had another computer chip in my inventory. I'm not sure if that did it or it was something else I did and I just missed it because I wasn't paying attention.

Comment 42, Monday, September 6th 2004 11:24:00 AM

Sweetcorn

:
Great, found the earing- just need to get your orientation right.

Gonzo

:
Mihalis: one of the chips has that answer.

Comment 46, Monday, September 6th 2004 11:29:00 AM

Graeme

:
Mihalis: You get the key once you've done all the jewellery. Have you watched all 3 'visions'? You'll need all 3 computer chips.

Comment 47, Monday, September 6th 2004 11:31:00 AM

Mihalis

:
Yea! i just was too much careful with that green cup XP thx!

Comment 48, Monday, September 6th 2004 11:33:00 AM

I've got the orange one and the pink one, can't fine the one that leads to the ring.....

Comment 49, Monday, September 6th 2004 01:20:00 PM

Graeme

:
I was clicking around in the bedroom when I realized I had the brown chip in my inventory. I'm not totally sure at what point it got there though - I seem to have collected it by accident.
