Stuck on room 7.... any one managed it yet?

Aqua

:
In 7, the numbers on the paper tells you how many times to click each button. Hard to know without translation.

Quick answer?
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Click: Up x 2, Left x 3, Right x 5, Down x1

Comment 4, Saturday, September 24th 2011 07:16:33 AM

Georgina

:
Thanks Aqua, wouldn't have got that with translation.

I'm stuck on Room 9, too. The only thing I've figured out is...
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
...the 30-degree angle on the picture suspiciously resembles the clock.

Comment 8, Saturday, September 24th 2011 08:09:28 AM

Picaso

:
stuck on room 11

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

I forced room 9 - something like 148 -sorry it blipped so quick i never saw it

Comment 9, Saturday, September 24th 2011 09:09:01 AM

Picaso

:
now on room 15

Comment 10, Saturday, September 24th 2011 09:13:45 AM

Picaso

:
I do believe 15 is impossible unless you know Japanese.

Hmm... In room 9 too... I realized what Sonic said - and had other ideas -, but the apparent lack of the digit 0 made them all useless...

Room 7 was a killer, would have had no chance without Aqua's hint, TBH...

I like this one until room #7, but now I'm quickly losing interest. I give a ciupke of more minutes to room 9 and then give it up. Reading Picaso another "impossible" room would await me 6 rooms later anyway...

OK, brute force solved room #11 for me. The code is

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
133

Anyone any ideas why this is the solution?

Sorry, that was meant to be room #9.

i got room 9 as

Hmmm... Room 15 indeed looks like smething tht need some Japanese language skills.

Anyone who actally managed to solve it without Japanese? Even brute force seems out of question, it needs a 4-digit code - I'm not gonna try hundreds of possible solutions :)

Cyvak,
you might be right with the code for room #9 - i was doing the numbers fast, I might have gone one over by the time I heard the click...

And any idea why that is the solution?

BioLarzen

:
Found a walkthru that gave me the code for room 15:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
1344

And the explanation: you had to multiply the letters - more exactly, how manieth in the Japanese alphabet they are.

Insane, if you ask me...

bio

PS: Don't even dare solving room #16. Even more insane than room #15 and also requires Jaopanese... Graeme, did you know this game requires this much Japanese?

Comment 18, Saturday, September 24th 2011 02:40:39 PM

BioLarzen

:
Good news: Room #16 is the last one - or, more exactly, there's one after that, but there's no puzzle there just open the door.

I was stupid enough to vote in the middle of the game ("in between"). Rooms #15 and #16 are impossible to solve without speaking - or reading - Japanese, and hard even then. It's definitely an "i hate it".

Graeme, I'd put some kind of warning in the post about that. Spoils all the fun.

No name

anybody got hints on room 10

Comment 20, Saturday, September 24th 2011 09:21:16 PM

Skyness

:
For room 10, you need
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
both pieces of paper, one from each side of the table nest to the door. Look at the black dots on the one paper, then look at the grid of numbers on the other paper, and pick the ones that the dots cover.
The short answer is
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
374.

Skyness

:
Are there any clues for room 14?

Comment 22, Saturday, September 24th 2011 09:57:06 PM

Skyness

:
Ok never mind. Found a walkthough.

I give it a 50% for the puzzles that didn't need Japanese

Afspam

:
I agree with the others, would have been a great game if not for the Japanese requirement.
