weird. it started with stage 76 and when i clicked on the arrow it took me back to the menu. where is everyone else starting?

76 is the first level in this game (in top left). There are a bunch of earlier games (6 i think) with the earlier levels in them.

I wanted to mention it earlier... Some of the screenshots to the posts contain clear spoilers. You sure that's how it should be? I've already played this new installment of Hoshi Saga yesterday, but I wouldn't be happy if I met it here first and saw the spoilers.

some of the games don't show the whole screen of the game. That means that crucial items are off screen and therefore inaccessible. Does anyone have any advice?

@bio: My bad. it was only after I had spent an age getting all six screenshots, resized them, and stitched them all together, that this even crossed my mind, and then I didnt want to re-do it all. Next time i need to think harder before I start doing all the work. in my defense though it was before 6am my time when i was doing this, and cross fingers all the 'spoilers' are the easy ones that it's a snap to get anyway.

Found this walkthrough for level 80. Would never have gotten there on my own. Only one I couldn't do.

Drag the segment in the bottom-left corner around the field, then keep clicking the tail segment. When the star appears, you may need to move the snake a little so it's unobscured.

Phinnaeus might refer to the fact that the "solution" (i. e. the star or something vital) is positioned "outside" the screen in the beginning and has to be somehow "brought in", to be seen?
