HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
Collecting the gems (?) seems to be the first thing to do. Then - i think - balance them on the beam. Not sure beyond that as I don't have them all yet.

Okay, stuck. I've gotten far.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
I've stopped the wind and knocked the ball down the hill, and I think I have to fix that broken stick towards the left. I noticed a new stick stuck in the ground near the mushrooms, but I can't figure out how to get it out...

Charlie

:
@sonic: I assume then that you have solved the 'pentagram' puzzle (far left).... Any hints for that?

BioLarzen

:

Logics puzzles are my strength, but I've never been able to easily solve these rotating-disk type ones where rotating one disk will automatically rotate another one, too... Somehow this one type just never settled in my head...

Anyone knows if the game autosaves my progress? Because I'm somewhere in the middle

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
solved the multi-hoop vine-puzzle, the pentagram-puzzle, the marbles-puzzle, yet to solve the rotating stone disks puzzle, the wooden poles-pizzle and the stone hoop assembly puzzle I believe
but I have to go now... Would be a shame if it didn't because I like this game so far, but I won't start it all over again, because this music is starting to kill me and I see n way turning it off :(

Charlie,
for the pentagram-puzzle:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
first, notice the bees flying above it. Bring some order and then you'll see the rest, I think.

I've made a little progress since my last comment.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
I realized that the cave on the far left is connected to an invisible hole at the bottom of the hill, that I plugged up with the ball. The wind blows into that cave when it's blowing left. Thus, get the wind blowing left after dropping the ball, and I can make the mushrooms sing. I've duplicated the melody from the sticks to no avail... probably because the melody isn't complete because I haven't fixed that one stick yet.

No progress on getting the stick on the far right out.

...Oh.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
The little flying creature that transports the flower seed? You can also use it to pull out and transport the stick stuck in the ground that I was fussing with.

The rest was a cinch. Out now.

Perhaps if something popped up underneath that ball it would move...

Really great game. I loved the atmosphere. It reminded me of Myst.

Charlie,
the mute button on my pc won't help, because i have to listen to something else in the meantime ;)

BTW, now I know it doesn't save, started again, beat the rotating stone disks puzzle - and nothing happened... Got 4 stones and I don't seem to be able to

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
balance the seesaw with those four (red, blue, yellow, green)

I was counting on a fifth stone from this puzzle and now I seem to be astuck. I still have to do something with the mushrooms, the sticks and the stone hoop assembly puzzle - but I don't seem to be able to.

I agree, it's a good one - but Myst is much better...

@bio; Once you have solved the rotating discs make sure you

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
click on the middle of the discs (maybe you have to do this a couple of times) to get the gem/rock.

Ah, Graeme, thx for the hint! I didn't dare to touch them once they were in order :D

Bug alert for the Stone Marble puzzle:

I was doing the center part of this puzzle and when I accidentally clicked on one stone and dropped it over another, it took it away. o_o; Now I'm sudenlly one stone less.

A hint about the pentagram:

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)

It doesn't have to be in any particular order. Just watch the path the bees tak in flying.

If that isn't enough, here's a second hint:

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)

The bees themselves are a bit of a hint. Imagine trying to draw one with a straight line. how would it look?

Comment 21, Monday, August 1st 2011 02:38:02 PM

BioLarzen

:

Well... The bit where I had to

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
pick up the seed with the flying creature was hard since it took me a good couple of clicks before one finally registered and the flying dunnowhat was willing to pick up the seed.

Kinda bad, because I thought this was I should do - but, since it didn't seem to work, i resorted to the hint that said this is, indeed what I should do... Also, navigating it to the right place then had much more of a feeling of being annoying than a challenge...

Since I had to use a hint, this is not much of a real challenge now, sicne, in a way, I already "cheated". And, since I have to sleep now (it's almost 1 AM here) and rthere's no Save feature, I'll leave this game now.
I'm sorry because it seemed a genuinely good game, but then i realized that it was only some of the puzzles that I really liked and I didn't like anything else really... Certainly no hunger to come back and do it all again to pick up where I left.

Thx for the hints, guys.

I had a cairn terrier once. Will that help me in this game?

@supperhappyjen: It depends how good at puzzles it was and how much of this knowledge it imparted to you...

A shame. Lots of niceties ruined by bugs.

And yeah that soundtrack grates especially when combined with the aforementioned bugs.
