Daymare Town 3
Curiously enough most of my day time nightmares, "daymares" if you will, revolve around the release of Daymare Town 3 being pushed back for some reason, and thus being stuck with yet more badly written pixel hunting nonsense for another six months, but huzzah and hurrah, my fears were unfounded, and it's here. The only question is, what shall I worry about now? Is it too early to ponder DMT4 I wonder? [subbed by Murtaugh, myuhinny, Cyberjar88, Chacha, Mimi & Daremaster Spoodle].

Well well, I already played it through, and of course I loved it :-D

Wonder if anyone will write a walkthrough for it...? Haaaa ha ha..... only joking...!

Only the masochists will try to write a walkthough for this. I managed to postpone working on my taxes for an entire afternoon! A Murtaugh/Matus Skutnik game always takes precedence. Huzzah for Daymare Town.

Haas anyone figured out the abacus in the classroom yet?

How about all the gnomes? Are they there just for show?

I am bewildered by all the places to go and things to interact with-this is greater then MOTAS!!!

FYI- Several of the strange characters you interact with need more then one item!

Comment 15, Wednesday, March 31st 2010 06:59:35 AM

Rob

:
Yes, in the abacus, you must put the numbers that you found in the grid (forester house).
Candys from weelchair boy, are for the boys in the place, playing to the marbles.

Nellyginrich

Abacus code is found in the Forrester's house on the ventilation grille (go to the right). If you hover over each number the dropdown at the top will reveal their identity.
On the abacus, if you want to reset the counters you will have to load all the counters to the left before you will be able to click them and they magically all move across to the right again.
What a beautiful game!

-You pass out all three encyclopedias to three different people.
-You can use the hammer in numerous places.
-You can feed insects to the spiders
-Give the man in the bed next to your room tea after the pill
-Don't pass up the room in the center courtyard that leads to other rooms, including where to place the porcelin elephant.
-You can enter pictures and books to go into more rooms, including where to place the chinese puzzle pieces.
-Kids like candy and lollipops
-Somethings open up after you complete a task that are not apparent at first
-Some views in front of doors have side views that take you into alleys
-WATCH THE CURSOR to see when it indicates the ability to interact with something or someone

Chinese puzzle pieces

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
I believe one is in one of the cabinets in the hospital that opens after you satisfy one of the challenges.
Another I think was hidden on a shelf or window.
The third I can't remember and the fourth I haven't found yet but I am guessing in one of the areas I haven't gotten into yet.

I haven't had any luck with the rare flower or the olympic medals (I have all three). Also, what to do with the syringe full of urine? Where is the hammer?
also, BigFatBob, I'm wondering if the guy waiting for pickup is somehow related to the crane that hangs over the inner courtyard...

Comment 39, Wednesday, March 31st 2010 07:31:49 PM

The hammer was somewhere in the hospital. Can't remember where though. I've sold all my medals. God, who would sell their Olympic medals for some gear wheels?! Ha ha
