Escape From 5th Door
The first hurdle in playing Escape From 5th Door is where to find the game (hint: scroll down the page), but if you're having issues with that, lets face it, you're definitely going to have trouble escaping the room, so... erm... ahh... I'm having trouble escaping the room [subbed by charlie].

Walkthrough

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

-turn left.
-open the panel.
-pick up the card.
-Change the numbers on the doors so that they total to 12. (eg, 3, 7, 1 and 1) If you've done this correctly, the card reader in the panel will have a green light under the N.
-Go through the north door.
-Change the colors on the machine to match the corresponding numbers on each door: you can find these on the panel in front of the machine. So for example, if the number on the east door is 7, then on the panel, you would move the levers above the 1 and the 3's, and it would be cyan.
-Pick up the cards and the key.
-Use the key on the left green panel.
-Move the N and S knobs.
-Go back outside.
-Open the panel.
-Take the box.
-Open the box. Click on the green doll.
-Click on the lid of the box.
-Put the N card in the card reader.
-Open the panel on the wall behind you.
-Put the S card in the card reader.
-Pick up the knob.
-Take the nut off the knob.
-Go back to the north room and put the knob in the left panel. Turn it.
-Put the remaining cards in the card readers corresponding to the correct door. (W card goes in the panel left of the north one, E card goes in the last panel).
-Pick up the water bottle in the east panel.
-Open the east door.
-Put the green doll in the slot on the right.
-Turn the heads of the dolls to correspond to the directions on the lid of the box (relative to where you are facing.) (left, forward, back)
-take the knife.
-Use the knife on the bottle. Click on it again (probably near the bottom). Use the knife on it again.
-Open the drawer.
-Take the nut and the key.
-Use the key on the right green panel in the north room.
-Click on the lever.
-Go through the west door.
-The treasure chest code is X, star of david, 3.
-Take the wrench in the chest.
-Look behind the chest for another key.
-Use the key on the green panel in the east room.
-Click on the lever.
-Go through the south door.
-Click on the milk carton to the right side.
-Cut the milk carton with the knife.
-Look inside the carton to get rubber bands.
-Attach the rubber bands to the top part of the carton.
-Go to the north room and use the wrench on two bolts on the panel.
-Put the bolts in the holes on the bottom of the bottle.
-Attach the nuts to them.
-Attach the top part of the carton to it.
-Use your new device on the left side of the south room.
-Use it to reach the switch at the end.
-Put the wrench in the tube on the right side. (If you pick the left tube, continue reading. Otherwise, just skip to the last one.)
-Go back to the left side and retrieve your device.
-Look at it to find another key.
-Go back outside.
-Go inside the device.
-Click on the left side of it.
-Use the key on the panel.
-Open it to get a hammer.
-Go back to the south room and smash the tube.
-Retrieve your wrench.
-Put the wrench in the other tube.
-Now open the door.
*The first time I played, I stuck the wrench in the left tube, and was able to exit using the device that appeared. Wierd.

Is there any difference to the endings? I tried the three different ways, but I only seem to get two endings?

I can't stand heavy walkthrough games. They make me feel all icky inside.

the music is bad enough without having to go through a marathon of a walkthrough (thanks anyway Tessbot, the thought was there and you worked hard on it)

I never would have been able to figure that out without your walkthrough - thanks Tessbot.

Still don't know how you got he code for the treasure chest. Was it cause those symbols have reflection symmetry, like the picture above?

Actually, I thought the symbols above were supposed to be overlapped, like the star of David, but I didn't know what to do with the first letter and the number; I just screwed around with them; there weren't too many, and it was easy to check.

Okay, I found out about the "three" endings.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

If you take the exit in the south room, regardless of how you do it, that's one ending.

The other ending is the exit in the device that appears after you put the wrench in the left tube; you can get there anytime. Just point the cursor high enough over the stairs, and if you do it right, the words "ESCAPE" will appear.

Of course, if there are more, I don't actually know about them.
