Exmortis 3

Look for the 'Play Online Demo' link on Exmortis 3 to get a (good) free taste of this much awaited post apocalyptic horror point'n'click game (nb. once again, this isn't one for the kids to play, in case you didn't guess already), but you'll need to download it and stump up some cash (19USD) for the full thing... I know, I'm sorry, but it is Exmortis, it's not that much money, paying will help with future games.... argh... who am I kidding? Enjoy the demo, and at least think about paying for the full thing, even though, like me, you'll probably just play the demo and then cross your fingers that a commercial laden on-line full version will be available at some point in the future.

very disappointed that this is a demo game, with a 19 dollar fee for the real thing. seriously? im a p'n'c addict, but the best things in life are free and simple.

even the demo one has ads built in. sadddd. and quite frankely unless a free full game comes out ill be looking for nefarious ways to play this for free. maybe borrow it from a friend or something. 19 bucks is too much.

When I think of the time it took for him to learn how to create these games, and then the time it took to make something as cool and as well-designed as Ex Mortis is, I'm actually surprised people would complain about having to pay. As Graeme said, $19.00 is not much when you consider what you're getting (and what you got with Ex Mortis I and II.) Frankly, if Ben (the creator of Ex Mortis) came into my office asking me for free stuff I'd tell him to get lost! So I am grateful he did Ex Mortis I and II for free and will happily pay to play III. My only concern is that the gameplay is long enough to warrant $19 bucks! I admittedly would be upset to pay $19 for something only as long as the previous versions. Caveat Emptor!

When I click the "play online demo" link it brings me to a window that says "Pirate Domain: can only be played on Fizzy Games". I checked, and the link was from Fizzy. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, do you know how to fix it?

This guy did such a great job with the first 2. IMHO One of the finest horror genre PnC's ever developed. Curious to find if anyone who has shelled out the buckazoids felt it was a worthwhile purchase.

I bought Exmortis 3 and it's worth it, if you are really into the eery scheme and are a fan of the Exmortis 1 and Exmortis 2.

Otherwise, you'll just be setting yourself up for, yet another, overpriced game that you'll never play after the first time.

aww darn it... didn't works for Mac? Boooooo!

I love Ben Leffler, but seriously, not making the demo available for us Mac users is stupid and painful.

Now I gonna have to search for a Window...

Just finished the demo. Great game. Love the tense, creepy atmoshpere.
I will definitely buy the game and for all those complaining about the price: don't forget that Ben spent 3 years making this great game! And we also have Exmortis 1 & 2...

Must admit though that $19 is a bit overpriced... :(

Dear god, I will not sleep tonight.

But I MUST play it. 1 and 2 were so awesome.

And... yeah I'm a little bit surprised he's charging. I don't really blame him though, if you guys didn't hear, about halfway through Exmortis 3, Ben had all his sketches and his laptop, with ALL the progress for the game on it, stolen. He basically had to start over from what was uploaded on the internet. With that in mind $19 is not a sum of money I will miss.

I wish people would stop complaining about the fact you have to pay for the full game.
You're paying a tenner for more than 5 hours of excellent gameplay - and it's even more of a bargain if you consider it as payment for the first two games as well. Ben has been working on this thing for 3 years. I think he deserves a little more than a pat on the back, don't you?

$19 is too much. If it's like 1 or 2 in length, complete with spelling errors, even with the extra TLC put into its design, it wouldn't be worth $5. It's an amateur flash game, regardless of how much time was put into it.

Unless it's been thoroughly tested for bugs, is backed by a major game company, and is at least an hour long (and that's if the player knows what they're doing), then yeah, I say charge money.

Otherwise, it's preposterous. I can buy a console game for Ps2 that costs $19. Besides, it isn't like Exmortis is the holy grail of flash games; there are many others made by people that put major time and effort into a lengthy, excellent flash game.
