You can use the cards on the second floor (rainbow picture). Also there's a place for knobs/whatever. Have no idea about their order though. There's also a key.

Walkthrough

* Go to second floor. Click the 8x24 poster then click around the four to zoom in. You hear a click
* back out of closeup and turn right. Click on picture of four circle buttons.
* Click buttons: bottom, top, left, right. (like making a four) Take water charm
* Turn right, take candle to left of elevator. Take elevator to floor 3
* click on the bottom shelf on bookshelf. Take cups.
* Go left, look under bed, and take newspaper.
* Go left again, take cane from umbrella holder to right of elevator. Go left once more. Open red box. Take fire charm and matches
* Go to floor 5
* Click on umbrella holder to the right on opposite wall. Click the knobs to take them (they're vases).
* Go out of closeup and click the flowers. Click the plant over to the right in flowerpot to take leaves. Click bottom of cabinet and take wattering can.
* Go right. Open cabinet on wall to get key. Close cabinet and use key on it to get green charm.
* Out of closeup, click the red box. Take paper on the floor behind extinguisher.
** Note flower colors: Yellow, Blue, Red White. This is key to reading Memo. Memo says: Look Back Four Time
* Go to floor two and turn left to see a poster. There's a forcefield so you can't approach it.
* Read Newspaper. (Click front: Forest Fire Water. Click far left side to flip: Mysterious unnatural death 4F. PM 10:00)
* Click green charm. Click poster. Click fire charm. Click Poster. Click water charm. Click poster. POOF! Bye-bye poster.
* Click wall. Beat cement with cane. xD
* Click brown wood to pull table down. Click on temple thing in background. Click doors to get scroll.
* Open scroll and read. Vases: corners. Water Cups: sides. Candle: middle.
* Put leaves in vases, water in cups, light candle.
* Wait and see what happens. Then light candle again. Wait for elevator, then go to floor one. You can now go there.
* Click doors and you are out. Welcome to Alive End!
Do not go to floor 4.

At the end:
You have to go into elevator as soon as it opens in front of you, before ghost lady gets out. THEN click on ONE to live. It takes you to four. Keep clicking one till it works. Or wait to be dragged away by ghostie.

After getting the firm tool from the locked red fire box, go to the fifth floor and use the tool on the elevator doors to open them. There is a ladder which takes you to ROOF END.
FYI
:This game makes more sense if you are familiar with Asian superstition.
