Looking at the couch, click to the right of the right hand end table and you get a clue for the totem pole.
I am getting a little help over at Nordinho. =)

:Out, finally. Some of those puzzles are a little obscure. You have to do a lot of trail and error clicking around.

on the back of the picture you got off the wall, you can take the string. Dunno what to do with it, but it's yours to have.

Unfortunately I was clicking on autopilot so not sure what the combination was. All I can say for sure was that I think the middle section was facing straight back and the bottom section was a click or two to the left. Sorry guys :(

the key from the totempole opens up the little drawer on the table thing, which gives u something strange which is a remote for the dvd player

turn parts of tomem-pole to match the instructions.
Instructions show an overhead plan view.

The right picture on the wall. Click in order that the cabinet under the TV tells you in roman numerals. you will get a key and it will open that cabinet door

Madly click the drawer on the little table with the glass case.. you get a cell phone and type the numbers on the left cabinet by the couch in the phone and you'll get a tape despenser.
