Host Master And The Conquest of Humor
I'm sure it'll come as some surprise to you to hear that I personally found Host Master And The Conquest of Humor darn tricky. The idea of the game is to find jokes. But I can only find ban puns. I have tons of puns, but no jokes at all. You're shocked aren't you? I know you are. Stop trying to hide it. And now you'd never expect me to randomly go off at a tangent and link to something completely unrelated on you tube. But HA! Now I have. And on that bombshell, I'll leave you [subbed by TheJackalope, Mantari & Buji].

ya i'm not too fond of it either...

I have 4 jokes...and that's all I can find...

Plus a bunch of inventory items that seem to be useless...

I found 5 out of 22 jokes...

How could there POSSIBLY be 22 jokes to find in that small room?

Ha ha. It's goofy for sure. I kinda like lame-o jokes on occasion. I guess this is one of those occasions. :o)

I LOOOVE this game. The whole Lucasart style is great. I still miss those games, and I don't understand why the genre died out. I hope they decide to make a new Monkey Island game sometime.

OK, question for those who have finished this...

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
I tried to wash the piece of tablecloth and it just disappeared from my inventory without giving me anything. Is that supposed to happen or is that a bug caused by me not having the sink stoppered?
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

I love this game! I played it a couple days ago. I enjoyed talking to everything in the room, and the different endings you can get when you leave without all the jokes.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

cigar cutters, empty match box, remote for executive bathroom, and an artifact that looks like the bottom half of a rubber chicken.

Any help?

Lynz, not sure but this is what I did:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

Pick up the odd thing and use the two together, is that where you're stuck?

Jen,

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Try using the executive remote again, you might have to flood the bathroom first

A couple of hints for those that are stuck:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

1. Push stool - get sticky note.
2. Pick up bear rug (it will fold over to reveal phone)
3. Use cigar cutter to cut tablecloth, use cloth to plug up bathroom sink.
4. Push/pole bear rug eye

Did anyone consider introducing this game designer to the 21st century? It's like a bad 1980s game. Not even worth the incredibly long amounts of time it takes to click on "look at" "pick up" etc.

The only joke is that I bothered playing for even 10 seconds.

This game is fabulous, it reminds me of the old LucasArts games which still remain the best games ever. One joke to go!

This was a cute game, but you have to get the in-joke, or else it is just horrible.

The game was hard at first but gets easy once you find the way to open the safe behind the portrait of Tim(hint: the code is written upside down on an empty book of matches)...

Hey, for all of you still wondering how to beat the game, I found the complete walkthrough: :)
