Sorry, but I still don't get the safe combo - someone said that "the bookshelf from the bottom up is the order of colours".

Do you mean that you take the colours from the coloured books, from the bottom shelf going up, and use them on the safe, from the top down?

Or visa-versa - or something else?

I've tried every combination of those colours I can think of...!

Oh no - as soon as I post, I think of another combination (which works).

I still don't understand the previous comment, though.

Although if you rearrange the letters from the four coloured books into a word - that's the combination I used.
