I found a green key, don't really remember where.

I can't find a yellow key, though. I don't like these 'just click wildly around the room until something appears' kind of games.

ok...i'm stuck. i have most of the stuff everyone has mentioned so far...but only 4 keys. am loosing the will as everytime i click on something with an object i lose the object back into the inventory and i have to keep picking it up again...is this just with me or others having same annoying problem?

I still don't have yellow key just because the solvent stuff still doesn't work and I'm still trying... Did it work for you NuttyRachy?
And yes the things keep going back to the inventory. I think it's the same thing for everyone

You click on the highest light-colored board between the treasure chest and the bed, directly over the top left corner of the chair back. That zooms you into the floorboard where you can see the hole that you need to widen with the hammer.

I kept on
