:ive got chapter one working. i can get the lass to walk about and i see stuff i could be picking up or doing things with....but somehow clicking on things doesnt seem to do anything. i just walk about. aimlessly. much like real life. but with an mri machine. hmmmm

Did your cursor light up or anything?
I don't remember how the controls were on 1, but I think it lights up and you should have a couple bubbles pop up that you can select.
The items are at the bottom of the screen after you pick them up.

:Hooray, figured it out! Well, found out via a website but anyway, you have to HOLD the mouse down in order to get a wheel of 'actions', monkey island-style.

I tried to feed that little animal from back in the cell, but I can-t really interact with it. Oh, I made some fire with the chopsticks, but that doesn't seem to help me

Luli just use the rice bowl with the camera, so it steams up the lens & you can get past. :)
