Let the sharp things swing all the way to either the far right or left. When it's the furthest it can go, then move forward.

I'm in the waterfall room. I found the perfect bucket, but then it disappeared after I clicked it and it's not in my inventory. How do I get it back!?

use the spade from the very beginning scene - I didn't realise I had one until later - so I had to start over to get enough ammo for the spiders - duh!

In the first battle with the spiders, when you see a bullet drop down and just sit there on screen, shoot it to get more bullets. (It took me a while to realize they weren't just shells flying around)
when you're playing connect the dots, it's ok if your lines aren't straight but you can't cross the lines you've already made.
In the battle with the boss spider, aim for the little mouth in front and just keep firing. You'll know you've hit the sweet spot when it opens its mouth

:It was fun up to the 3rd collect the dots crap..I'm on my lap top so I'm not using a mouse, and it just annoyed the crap out of me so i quit.

:Scores aren't linked to anyone else's scores, but I managed a 229000 score. Couldn't find the fifth secret treasure, but I gotta say... not a fan of the shooting trials.
